Did it, it worked! I adjusted it to 260 and it's perfect. I just have 1 doubt, this will not affect the quality of 1080p movies right?

Glad it worked. I forgot to put 2Dark4u's caveat on going bigger than 240. Gabbian0 has quoted it right above this. But I have seen no effect on 1080P video quality.

i have installed 1.7 on a 4.1 ug802 that i received a few days ago. everything went smoothly except one thing. su seems to deny access to every app by default. i have changed the setting to make it 'allow' by default but it doesn't work.

it's not my first android and not my first rooting/rom update/kernel update etc since i have several devices but i am stuck on this matter.

any ideas guys on what has gone wrong?

Wow all.... what can I say?
WARNING TO ALL!!!!
In this ROM kit are custom kernels for overclock.
Some will burn out your UG802 if you do not have a heatsink on the processor!
SO BE CAREFUL which you choose. I did my best to explain in the README.txt for instructions on what to do!
DO NOT BLAME ME OR Alex (2dark4u) IF YOU BURN UP YOUR UG802!!!!

What if you install the overclocked kernel on a MK802III? The MK802III already runs 1.6ghz on the factory firmware, without a heatsink, right? So is it safe to install the overclocked kernel on a MK802III without an additional heatsink?

Some Apps like TV.COM is very choppy, what is the best Video Player for this Firmware?

Hi,

I had the same problem on my RK3066 tablet but after restarting the tablet the fullscreen button magically appeared. Based on this experience I did not upgrade my UG802. What is Your experience does the problem persist even after restart?

I try with reboot and clear app data with no luck so i return to factory version.

strange wifi

hi there everybody
strange thing is going on with my wifi
my configuration is boot720 and kernel 720/1272
after all things i have tried to speed up wifi, i finally brought my UG to job to try it with their router.
here is the thing, and i am sure that the same thing was the problem at my place, i get only 1.4Mb/s download, and full (over 9Mb/s) upload
if it was because of signal, i suppose that upload wouldn't work good as well.
does anyone know why does this happen, or maybe have an idea what could i do to fix it?

Touchscreen support

It would be great if you include multi-touch support in your next release. I have a Dell ST2220T touchscreen monitor and hoping to get the touchsreen working with UG802.

Hi guys!

I was gonna install a heatsink to my UG802 CPU for the purpose of running it at 1.6 ghz with this rom. But when i opened the case, i accidentally ruined a resistor on the CPU side of the board.
It would be awesome if someone knew what resistance this has so that i could replace it. Maybe someone with and opened UG802 could measure it with a multimeter? I'm guessing it's for the Mali, since i am not getting a picture when booting it up. Note that i am still running the Finless 1.4 rom, since i haven't gotten around to this one yet. So it does not have anything to do with ruined flash or something like that.
