MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

I have wifi speed problem, the problem is in the system img, if I flash 1,7 I get low speed, if I flash system.img from 1,6 over 1,7 the speed is great, thats 22mbit down vs 1mbit down.

Maby something to look at til next beta of the 1,7

works great as I have it now, with system from 1,6 and kernel and the rest from 1,7

Yes I can, but isn't the same as I conect my Xoom2 in the same HDMI port.

I have a mk808b and havent this issue. Try a clean reinstall.

So what do you do? Shutdown from the menu bar and then unplug?

I tried a clean reinstall multiple times, but this issue keeps coming back, forcing me to reinstall the rom multiple times...

So, I've tried the new FW:


- Installed Alex Kernel 1080p
- Overall Wireless Strenght seems to be good (better than 1.6) if the db in the Wlan Analyzer app is correct

Overall seems nice and stable and the first Time that I can play 1080p via Wlan withouth any stuttering just PERFECT!

Can you link that Alex kernel?
I am having issues with playing 1080p over wifi
(tried xbmc,rockplayer2)
(total commander + lan plugin and started the video from there or in xbmc added a windows smb share,its weird lags).
(Now xbmc and mxplayer are freezes the whole system after a few minutes with an 1080p movie playing from usb otg pendrive).

I ordered yesterday got it today from amazon. I thought I got a non B version and i was going to cancel and get the B version for like 2 bucks more.. but it turn out I got the authentic B.

Play with stock for about 1 hour and then spend about 10 minutes flashing to 1.7. Everything is working so far!


The logitech wireless and mouse (m515) keyboard (k360) work flawless with it. The keyboard has all these fancy function like Home, calculator..etc and it all work with this android! i'm so freaking suprise.

Now I'm just looking for a remote control app on iOs for it. Any suggestion would be great

Yes it was more a test to pinpoint the problem, now I know its system.img and not any other "modules" of the build.

Device? Wifi signal? Wifi encriptation?

Mine:
Mk808b(rk903)
Network n pure.
Encriptation: wpa/wpa2 psk.
Conected at 65mbps
Signal strengh 54db
Everything seems to be good:
YouTube hd runs smoothly.

Lets try to identity the problem.

65Mbit connection - exelent

fl 1.7
All the same but speed drops to 5mbit after a few minutes


Have tryed a lot if roms and fl 1 6 is the onlyone working.

Result:
Wifi and BT are not working.

Alex kernel, like all custom kernels are for mk808 non B model, the only WiFi chipset full suported by the kernel sources we have is rk 901, we have rk903 In mk808b, and by the moment noone can get it working. Something is missed in this sources.

So 808B cant play 1080p movie without a lag?And can't play 720p over wifi with SMB share? OR 1.7 is not working for me and should I try 1.6?
