"...I don't like that. I want to let the Mk808 running all over the day, for torrent. But if there is no connection for a longer period, it will turn off, and of course never turns on again.
I tried to turn on the "screen never turns off while charrging" option, but as I see, it looses this setting. After a while, I go back to settings, and it is unchecked...
btw, apart from this thing, the ROM is great!

As a workaround, you can install a screensaver app, like "Clock Screensaver Free". It keeps the device alive when screen turns off. Worked for me.

Thanks, I will try this.
Because, when the screen goes off, also the wifi connection is dropped, even it is set to "Never". (Maybe another small bug?) So, it means because there is no wifi data transfer anymore, the device will shut down.

A simple fix I have been using for last few days was to install 'advanced wifi lock' from the play store. Given, I installed this before I knew about the never sleep setting - but it is preventing my device from powering down and I haven't had a single hickup yet. It may be worth noting the first time you run the wifi locker app it prompts you to 'modify sleep policy'. Something else I did from within the app is to uncheck 'disable wifi if connection is lost'. It just seemed to me that I didn't want my device to power down if I had to reset my router-

Hows Netflix working for you guys with 1.7? On 1.6 it's decent for me (after I "discovered" that the quality setting on the web interface affected the app quality too) But I still find image a bit jerky, especially in panoramic scenes.

I think this is due to problems with the Netflix app and not rom related but I'm not sure. Hoping for improvement with 1.7 :-)

I've been testing netflix quite carefully....on my stock ROM was pretty stuttery....finless 1.5 was a good improvement....skipped 1.6 and now runing 1.7 which is an improvement again.

However there was still a minor stuttering issue which i've pretty much resolved by using SETCPU and running the performance profile when using netflix.

Still looking for improvements though so will checkout the web interface quality setting

Cannot go back to wifi connection after using ethernet adapter

I seem to have a different issue with my wifi, since it only showed up after I have been using the ethernet adapter for about 1 week.
I was using new, original Mk808B with Bob's -great- 1.7 working fine for a couple of days with excellent wifi. Then added the ethernet adapter which also worked fine (somewhat quicker than wifi).
But then tried the unit in a different room with wifi connection again (no ethernet in that room), but wifi does not complete connection, even though it shows a strong signal (4bars). It keeps getting stuck at authentication..... and retrying.
But, wifi also cannot connect anymore in the original room (very close to the router), where connection HAD been excellent.
Turned ethernet off and wifi on in settings, tried a reboot, also uncoupled the wifi connection and re-coupled with correct password, reset router, removed ethernet adapter, tried horizontal and vertical position for the MK808B, but will not connect to wifi anymore. Wifi signal still showing as strong on MK808B.
MK808B still works fine with ethernet adapter. Tab and phone also working fine on wifi.
Anybody else experience problems going back to wifi from ethernet adapter... or have any tips for a noob?

Try restting your router. All the connect reconnect your doing may have tied up the total allowed DHCP IP addresses set in your router.

You have to use arrow keys to navigate and select... there is a post on it... also need the RK3066 MK808 version posted also. Good luck. Try a USB keyboard. Cheers

If you had your RC-12 dongle plugged into your USB-OTG port, try plugging it into the MK808's regular USB port. That's what worked for me.
