go for it!
Checked 1.7 that HD playback now:
from Youtube 720p and 1080p seems OK.
From USB external (16GB Kingston DataTravel 500 ) 1080p and even 720p is playing with lags.
If I copy from USB to the devices internal memory 1080p playback seems good.
Is there a problem with ROM or with my USB device (or with the mk808?)
Wifi SMB:
720p video is unwatchable laggy.(Total commander + Lan plugin, MX player (in settings checked hw decode locally and network and 10bit too).(SMB server is win8 pro x64)(wifi router is 300mbps,smb server connected to router with 300mpbs usb stick(before it was connected with wired lan cable or built in draft n wifi (720p lag was there too thats why bought a 300mpps usb stick(mk808b doens't recognize it so I cannot use it instead of the mk808b's builtin wifi)))
(sorry for my english)

Bluetooth
Hi there.
just bought a mini pc and installed 1.7 and it rolls smoothly.
But I have a question, is possible to control it with Bluetooh through your mobile?
Looked a bit on google play but could not find any good app.
Is there anyone who can come up with proposals for a solution?
Regards

Better?
So what do we think, this 1.7 is better than 1.6? I read a lot of comments, most of them positive. But also some complaints about wifi etc. Should I take the risk of upgrading and, reinstalling and having to go back to 1.6 or just stick to 1.6 for now (which I'm very happy with...).Last edited by Pietrucci; 09 March 2013, 18:05.

Mine:
Mk808b(rk903)
Network n pure.
Encriptation: wpa/wpa2 psk.
Conected at 65mbps
Signal strengh 54db
Everything seems to be good:
YouTube hd runs smoothly.
Lets try to identity the problem.
Encriptation: WEP
Connected at 53mbps (it said)
I didn't checked the signal strength but it was full bars
but downloading something (like the youtube app) took ages, just opening the play store took about 5 minutes to load and sometimes I get a network timeout.
on 1.6 wifi is extremely fast with the exact same setup, and mk808 position

So if I was to summarize.
Seems people with MK808B are not reporting wifi slow downs?
But MK808 (original) seem to be?
It's possible I missed pulling a driver over from 1.6 to 1.7 for MK808 non-B. Would be strange if I did but I suppose I could have missed something?
But know that unless I messed up, the drivers are the same between 1.6 and 1.7.
If I get some time I will remake MK808 (non-B) version again and make sure all drivers from 1.6 are used.
It will be a test ROM 1.7A for MK808 original.

"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"
