I also wondered how to zoom in maps (with rc12). Any suggestions? Maybe there is a labs thing to add zoom buttons.

Have you mic? This happens me when I not have mic.

Ok. I flash again 1.7b and mouse zoom not work. Then I flash 1.7a and mouse zoom work. Of course Finless ROM.

Yes that works. I remember now, zooming out is the problem.

If it's Google maps that you are refering about then you have an option to turn the onscreen zoom in and out buttons on.

                Settings>Display>Zoom Buttons

Sadly Google Earth doesn't have this option.

double clicking isn't an option, it only zooms in not out. In other apps it might work for a fixed zoom level and back to 100%.

I've been testing this mousewheel option and it does work!
                Test case:
                MK808B (original)
                Finless 1.7
                wired mouse (Logitech M90)
tested in the browser app and Google maps
For those who test this don't forget you have to press your mousewheel and keep it down while scrolling.
Sadly I didn't find a way to get this to work on a flymouse yet. We miss a mousewheel or a middle button. If we would have a middle button then we might have a chance when pressing this button down while pressing page-up page-down.

Is there any way to remap buttons to mouse events?

Well, as for me, it works on my air mouse when I hold menu button and zoom with up/down buttons.

                    That's the one I have.

Actually, there is an option to display zoom buttons.

Settings-> display-> zoom buttons (or something similar. My translation).

^^ this is the one I have now but I'm not sure if it's the original 808 or 808b. anyone know?

The box is the same of my MK808B Sunvel Clone.

                          What flymouse do you have?
And what is the menu button?
please ignore/delete this post, I noticed that he already mentioned this.

Might be but it's the same box as my original MK808B as well.
It's no way to guarantee what version it is.

Starting to think about upgrading from 1.6 here. But before I go ahead : can you guys please confirm that wifi speed is ok on 1.7b?

Tested Finless 1.7b and no more problems with the Wifi (but I can confirm the Wifi slow speed issues with 1.7 and 1.7a).
                                Good job, Bob !

On the other hand, it is possible to modify the default date time to be more close to our times (2012 or 2013 instead 1970)?
I like the flower-power age, but sometimes it’s difficult to manage the date changing. Sometimes I must to change manually (depending of the network connection) because the Auto (use network-provided values) doesn’t have effect. I cannot change settings in some networks (proxy, firewalls, etc) and I often use the mk808 stick in my travels (the mobility benefits ).
