MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

wifi had good signal on my mk808b, whit geekbuying stock release 24Mps i think but now wifi is not so good just 5Mps...

You are the first to report this on the MK808B. Also this ROM is based off the geekbuying release using it's wifi drivers.

I will wait to see if any more people have this issue before looking at it again. I do not have a MK808B I have a MK808B Sunvel Clone which has different wifi so I am unable to test!

Do not always trust the signal bar! ROMs can be made to fake that.

What you want to do is open settings and then click on the conection. You will get a pop up that shows connection data rate.

Then go get wifi analyzer from Google Play and see what it is telling you! This is the best tool for seeing what wifi is doing.

Finally if you read through here, the MK808B has always had wifi complaints due to the antenna being shorted and other issues. I even made a video showing how I moded my MK808 to resolve issues:

Now i have internet after reboot device...

in settings display there is a time out for sleep mode (screen Lock). It ranges from some seconds to 30 minutes. Is there a way to disable it completely?

My ASUS TF101 has a "NEVER - Display always on" option in there.

My internet streaming stops when screen blanks.

Oh, really? I thought I remembered that you had bumped it up to 1.4 a while back. Guess not. Either way it's still ramping the CPU clock all the way up and I'm having heat issues. Even if I set the max clock to 1.008 and min to 252. Or is that normal for everyone? Just worried it might burn out.

By default first ROM flash there is a NEVER setting. But after you mess with lock screen, this dissapear for some reason. I forget how to turn it back on. Mess with lock screen settings and also keep wifi on during sleep settings for advanced wifi settings. One of those will give you back never option.

I went from finless 1.7 > 1.7a > 1.7b > 1.7c
I did this by just only flashing the system.img

My problem is that in 1.7b and 1.7c I get adverbs popping up in a lot off aps.

So is there a way to stop this and get rid of these ads because the are really annoying ?

Hi - Pinch-to-Zoom works now, but if u single-click on the map (Gearth) after pinching > it does a "double-click-like" zoom at the first click ... and same if u pinch-out - it zoomes out once more at first click on map - nearly unusable ...

Install adaway aplication or similar. Now they are rempved from de market so look in other market.
