MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

I can not download or update apps from play store. I get an error message.
And also my wifi bar has lost its blue colour, although it's still connected.
Why is that?

Yesterday i received my MK808 and now I'm sitting here and cannot get this thing to run.
I tried all methods from the readme.txt but no matter what i do, windows can't detect the hardware!

Oh and btw, how can i select "Connect to PC" in settings -> USB when OTG port is connected to my PC?

Push button "c" on your keyboard. It will show you the context menu.

Actually, all keyboard shortcuts will work as in PC version of xbmc

I managed it to work.
Somebody should mention that one needs to click on "connect to pc" and after that:

1. plug in AC
2. unplug mouse
3. plugin usb pc <-> otg
4. unplug AC
5. start RKBatch Tool
6. start smiling because of a pink square
7. click on switch
8. install windows drivers
9. start finless flashrom
10. erase nand
11. flash rom

this would have saved me 1 hour.

my browser often dont react while playing movies from m..vi2k.. or k..x. i only can wait ( and nothing happens ) or i have to restart the browser..
does anybody have the same problem and maybe a solution? thanks

is there some way to fix the qwerty problem?
i have a logitech unifying stick plugged in, with mouse and keyboard.
Setting locales in keyboard settings doesn't change anything.

I recommend the External Keyboard Help Pro app. Nearly everything works with it, event the multimedia keys, eg. Volume, Home, etc.
It also hides the on screen keyboard,

But unfortunately in some editors like this website you cannot insert ENTER or SPACE.

I use the default browser, and it works perfectly. I was it in Chrome, Firefox, and uninstalled them quickly.
XBMC is an other application, where space is not working, I don't know why

Im having an incredible time just doing a speedtest with 1.7c, im seeing speeds of 27mb/s when I thought my house was only capable of about 2mb/s

Can't flash rom

Using Finless 1.7c. Flash tool says found RKAndroid mass storage usb. I press the button Erase NAND (IDB) a prompt comes up MSC can't do erase NAND.


?????? Have spent tons of time trying to figure it out. Please help.

Finless 1.7c It Worked, It Worked

I did it, I did it. I went back into the alternate reboot to flash tool, then RKBatchTool, didn't fill anything in the FW Path pressed Switch, #1 turned green, got out of it then ran rom flash tool, erase NAND then flash rom. I have been working on this for a week on 2 different computers. I don't give up. OCD.

if i recall wel the instructions say

before cleaning the nad you need to boot in recovery mode. its a botton in the left of the clean nand.

press that botton then wait until reboot and the message of mas sotage changes.

read again the flashing instruction. there it is well explained
