For this I sent an email to the SMSC corporation asking for the updated Android Driver for LAN7500 Chipset. They answered today and sent me the updated driver, there Is way to send to you/someone else this driver and get the compiled (ko) ones?

    Thanks a lot.

      pb with fonts

      Hi people.

So first, sorry for my bad english, but i'm french !

So, i use this rom on my key (rk808b) and it works well, except for one detail : the fonts are sometines and in somes apps, very crappy.
      i use the 1920*1080 resolution and changed my dpi (i tried 120, 160, 220, 240,...)
but for example, in the browser, in the address bar, the font are very....i don't know how to say "crappy"; not very readable. It is the same, in skype for example.
is there a way to improve the quality of the fonts ? (like fonts smoothing ?)

What do you use for dpi ? could someone share his configuration ? or do you have the same problem ? is it a problem from my tv ?

by the way, great rom, except for the boot animation : i don't like it lol ! (but already changed it ! )

Markus, plug your stuff in the main USB port not the OTG port and retry please. I see this stuff is plugged in the OTG. OTG is not a host port in this ROM.

          Hi Bob,

thanks that worked. I have tried both ports before my post but the USB-ethernet adapter didn't connect to the hub. I think the rd9700 has issues with my hub / switch. So i didn't see that the main USB is the one to use. Using an other switch it worked in the main usb port. Also the virtual USB 7.1 to analog ouput is working now.

What is the purpose of the OTG Port? The keyboard(s) work well plugged in there.

          BR

You use that port only for connecting to a PC where the PC is the host. This allows you to use the storage space as a removable hard drive on the PC and thus easily transfer files to it from the PC. And it is also used for flashing ROMs.

First, what browser you use?, I am a 1080p user too and I use default dpi resolution, and the font don't see ansolute clear, but think android is not designed for 1080p so don't expect clear fonts in 1080p, i see fonts legible in stock browser an in dolphins hd browser.

This is the first time I am getting a Android miniPC so please bear with me.
I just got my mk808B shipped today. Thanks I got this updated ROM by finless 1.7 .

I installed it and everything works perfect. Wifi is excellent and consistent.
SKYPE is perfect , and I am able to do vide calls with my cousin in UK. I have a Logitech C110 webcam. The inbuilt mic pics up so well I can speak sitting from the couch and also from the kitchen which is about 20 feet out.

One thing I am unable to do is mount my nfs shares. I am able to successfully mount my NFS shares on my WDTV live. So I know that the problem is not with my NFS exports from my NAS.

When I use the busybox mount command in MK808B by logging in through SSH , I get a mount failed 'No such device error' . Some research said this could be because the nfs modules is not part of the kernel.

Does anyone know how to install the nfs modules for this kernel ?

get CifsManager from app store, make sure you have 'load cifs module' enabled in CifsManager settings. share path should be IP address of you NAS followed by shared folder, rest are self explanatory.

The cifs module is already present. I can mount my nfs share in an adb shell:
                      mount -t cifs -o username=name,password=pass //host/share /sdcard/mountpoint

                      Hth

I feel like this should be in the notes, maybe also along with the fact that USB mass storage is in the RK settings, not stock Android settings. I tried two PCs, multiple USB ports on each, with all kinds of dev settings on and off until I realised this (and read the above 'connect to PC' method) >.<

That said, a big thank you to Bob for this release now that I have been able to flash, it's a much better experience with my MK808 now!

                          Hi Leolas,

thanks for your quick feed-back, here the link with the driver I've got yesterday:

My device is Mk808 original with Finless 1.7c.

Thanks a lot, waiting for your feed-back.

Finless, let me just say that you rule!
Without you, the MK808(B) would be a half-useless pos.
I just love your 1.7 rom.

Just a question across the thread: Are there ways to increase SNES emulation performance? Many side scrollers like Super Mario All Stars have minor lag when running. I already juiced up the CPU to 1,5GHz on performance governor and closed all background apps.

Leolas, good luck with the 75xx driver. It has problems!
I have already got a compiled KO and insmod it for people. It still wont work out the gate!
From what many have said the driver source has a bug!
If you figure that out, many will HUG you

Ok, the drivers are for linux not for android, but I compile it with crosscompiler and use omegamoon kernel source for compilation, gives me this:
