    Thanks for the info, Bob.

The thing is, I can only find one copy of busybox (in /bin) (I'm using File Manager with root explorer enabled).
If I rename the busybox in /bin and run busybox installer, it says that v1.11.1 is installed in /bin, which I then updated to v1.21.0.
However, after a reboot, busybox installer will detect more than one copy of busybox again.

I'm not sure where v1.11.1 is installed as using which from a terminal windows shows that busybox is in /bin and executing busybox from the command line shows that it's v1.21.0... I'm confused!

    Cheers!

      hey all,
thanks to Bob and everyone in here for all contributions, these android sticks are getting there! One question I have is where can I look for info on how to make a loading screen animation? How do you call these in android tech terms? Thanks!

When I disable ethernet, enable Wifi I can see the eHome. If I then disable Wifi and enable ethernet I can connect to it. So it kinda works but I have to do 4 actions to connect.

I use my MK808 as NAS with FTP/Sambadroid/PowerNZB/Dlna server, so my network connection seems ok, I download with 6 MB/s and over ftp I get a constant 12 MB/s also streaming to my LG tv works fine.

Also wathing movies on my MK808 works fine I use XBMX and I can watch several movies without a network hickup.

Also I use the Yatse XBMC remote and that works like a charme.

I also use a remote app for my TV and I use Youtube stream to LG tv so it seams that my personal network is working ok, the Rkremote tool is the only app I have problems with on my network.

The crashing of the app is the rotation I turned auto rotate of and no more crashed,

Thanx for this info. That problem is solved
I have the same problem with rkremote, I'm on the same network, but I can not see the device till I fiddle with the network settings.... sometimes reflashing magically fixes things? (I'm still running 1.6 rom)

I use 1.7c ROM with the rkremote from the Finless 1.7c rar file.

              xmount 192.168.1.149:/opt/usb/iomega/Media pogoplug nfs rw,proto=tcp
this command works in my wdtvlive but not in MK808 ...
My WDTV plays the 25GB files without a stutter.
bumping with the hope of getting help. I am able to mount SMB/CIFS shares . I need help mounting NFS shares. Anyway NFS can be supported by the kernel ?

I reflashed the Finless 1.7c rom on my MK808 and now the rkremote works better over ethernet. Also the app stopped crashing.

When I quit the rkremote and try to reconnect later I can not see the eHomeMediaCenter anymore.

I then must disable/enable ethernet and after that the eHome shows up again in the rkremote app.
                So problem almost solved.

The driver has the chipset HG20F9 and the linux and windows drivers can be found here http://m2.img.dxcdn.com/CDDriver/160918.zip
Any chance of geting it to work on the MK808B? I only have Windows 7 on the PC, hope it will work. Any answer is good, thanks

                  Sorry if I misspelled anything
Any answers for me, is there any chance to make the adapter work on the MK808B with finless 1.7c?

I got this to work by turning on droidmote server on the device but I actually did not find this remote any better, worse if anything. It keeps shutting down, loosing signal. At least droidmote is stable (for me).

                        NFS Filesystem support

Looks like there is no nfs file system support. I see cifs/smb suupport. nfs is way fast than cifs/smb . Please help on how to add nfs support to the kernel.

First time Finless ROM user. Just wanted to say excellent work, this is a real improvement over the stock ROM! Looking forward to messing with the 4.2.2 build as it solidifies

Hi everyone, i have just a quick question.
Is the problem of the status bar in xbmc solved or not?
With problem i mean the strange displacement that happens when you hide the status bar.
im searching in the posts but i cant find the right one.

Hay guys got a question about xbmc and this Rom , I've installed xbmc from February with hardware support plus added the playercorefactory file and all works fine mx loads and plays.
It's when I reboot I get no boot loop but the Rom just never boots completely so I need to reflash I've used the custom xbmc to from lewy with the same problem.
                                Any idea's?
