MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

I think both apps are in ROM already. There are RKWiMoRcTx.apk and RKWiMoRx2.4.20_121009.apk. First one is system service running in the background even on my Samsung phone, second one is "graphical" application you can run. Don't know why, but the service can't connect to the application. I can see packets flying around in tcpdump but thats all. Application is not responding to these packets. I think we are missing some settings. I found this file in RKWiMoRcTx.apk:

I flashed following all the procedures and now when I turn the stick on (blue led on and OK) in the tv screen only appears two penguins on the upper left side.
All the rest remains black....

In this forum is a thread related to wimo. I tested with a tablet with exynos 4 4412 and it does not work well yet

Since there is no 808B updated ROM, does this also mean that the new libinput.so and libstagefright.so posted are of no uses on the 808B?

I'm just curious because I did try XBMC (hwaccel version) and it was definitely not accelerated.

I'll have to check that out. NFS Most Wanted works too - although it doesn't work w/ an Xbox360 controller. It does work w/ a MOGA bluetooth controller.

CPU Speed

I thought the CPU in the ROM could be clocked up to 1.4. I'm only getting a max of 1.008. I've tried every governor and it acts like it on the performance governor. It won't drop below 1.008 and the 808 is getting pretty hot just sitting here. I'm using a CPU monitor and at idle with +-12% usage its still really hot and running @ 1.008.

Any ideas?

Ummm.... the stock kernel will not overclock! I thought that was well known?

Use a kernel that is unlocked like Omegamoon kernel or something.

Oh, really? I thought I remembered that you had bumped it up to 1.4 a while back. Guess not. Either way it's still ramping the CPU clock all the way up and I'm having heat issues. Even if I set the max clock to 1.008 and min to 252. Or is that normal for everyone? Just worried it might burn out.

Tried to flash rom with 1.7

Oh boy. Not sure if I did something wrong. I haven't actually gotten to flashing the rom yet. Not going too well. Windows 7 Pro sees mk808 as rockchip. Have I messed it up?
