Hello guys am new, installed romantic fine, but I can't turn on wifi, every time I try to turn on wifi under settings, it keeps switching off. Please help.

I am almost sure you installed the wrong version.

I have a mk808 so installed the 1.7c the one from the 13 March? That's the right one for my deviceis is it not please?

Are you sure you have a mk808(rk901)?

Hi Guys, first of all thank you for this great forum and the awesome rom!! =)
But I've got a strange problem/bug. I cant install any apk-file manually with the package installer..
The "install"-Button isnt grayed out or something, I just cant click on it. Searching Google, I only found the hint, that an app called ScreenFilter causes that problem, but I havent installed anything like that..
Any ideas?

Okay, I switched to the 2.0 one, but still the same issue, then i deleted the app droidremote server and it works. Guess I have to send the developer an mail

Hi Guys,
Changed the WPA passphrase not using exotic characters and it worked like a charm.
However now I have issues with the RK remote, both my appliances are on the same network but client (HTC Desire phone cannot find TV Stick.
Any ideas

Try to habilite in your router network share or something like this, some routers have disabled neighborshare.

Can this rom handle virtual touchscreen? Or it can but you have to install 'virtual_touchscreen.ntts.ko' file?

Hi Guys,
I changed my Wireless router, connection was more stable and since then the RK remote control works, I can fully control the TV stick with mouse, keyboard and multimedia control.

It's a joy.
Next step, try to link DVB-T antenna to see television. Any experience with this? I would like to be able to watch digital satelite TV and record TV shows.
Any info is helpfull.

I am working on it.... drivers are needed but I have created a ROM.
Please try it even though it is not for your stick (probably no wifi or BT) but maybe it will see your DVB-T stick.

Display Problem in MK808

Hi

I have MK808 which i bought in March 1st week from geekbuying.com. I have flahsed it with Finless Rom 1.7C. It was working fine for last 2 months but a few days back suddenly it started giving display problem in between....the screen goes blank for a sec and then comes back...when i am watching a movie or just browsing the internet it keeps happening...and after a few minutes the screen completely goes black and then i have to restart....I have erased and re-flashed the ROM but still the problem is there
Don't know if the problem is in the graphics chip or other hardware...the video continues while the screen goes blank ( no audio also during screen going black)
Has anyone else seen this issue ?

Maybe you must try to change the power adapter, with one of 5 volts, REAL 2 ampers ?!

Ok...I will try to find a new power adapter...but do you really think that adapter is the issue ? coz this adapter came with the MK808 stick itself and it was working fine for last 2 -3 months....
