What game specifically... If it is Wonder zoo then that APP with it's new release recently has a problem to begin with and it is NOT the licensing check!
What other game please and I will test it. But I do have to say this. Gameloft has updated almost ALL their games as of about May 15. So....... expect issues!
Oh and also DO NOT side load gameloft games from SD card now. They know the difference!
They have some new check to make sure it was installed from Google play!
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

1.7c on stock kernel?
Hi everybody,
I've been reading with interest all the information regarding the upgrade of the MK808 to this ROM but I have been unable to understand the following: would this work on a device running 4.2.2 with the stock kernel or does it need a specific kernel? I have the factory one, can't really say what that is right now but it's something like lfwang-pegatron.
The only reason for me to do this is that Netflix doesn't work and people have found that downgrading to 4.1 solves the issue..
Any commenst are highly appreciated and a donation is of course in order if I get this solved with this ROM!
Thanks in advance!

Be sure that you have the mk808 with rk901 and without bt to use the 1.7c. Bob mades a lot of roms for all mk808 devices, if you have the mk808(rk901) original, then you must install Finless 1.7c or Hibrid rom by lewy for the mk808REMEMBER, YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US.My devices:

The 4.2.2 rom is craptastic and jittery and stutters on every app and even while sitting on the desktop.
Stay far far away from any rom with the number 4.2.2. otherwise you'll run into overheating issue's which will cause freeze ups, error screens, and crashes and over time will brick your $@&!!
Bob did amazing things with the 4.1.1 rom and my antutu scores jumped up to 10000-11000 running 1.7 from running 4.2.2 scoring a crappy 8000-9000.

I can tell by your scores that you are running at 720p, and don't use ethernet. All roms have their good points, and bad, I would much rather run this rom at 1080p than any 720p 4.1.1.Currently Using:

Yes im running 720p upscaling to 1080p.
I have tried the 1080p kernel and there is no difference in picture quality between the 720p and the 1080p kernel while running on my 51" HD flat screen nor while trying on a 4000k t.v. at my local bestbuy.
The only difference is the 1080p kernel slows my MK808b down to a crawl.
Yes I am the drama King!! LOL.
Nope not using ethernet at all just Wi/Fi and that is working perfectly unlike with the 4.2.2 rom which cuases Wi/Fi to drop out every 10-15 mins sometimes less.
You never heard of a android stick dieing cause of over heating even ones with no heatsink??
Thats because 4.2.2 has only been out for a week week and a half give it a little bit you'll be hearing about it left and right.
I dare you to try installing 4.2.2 on a android stick with no heat sink and run any hd movie or play a 3d game and we'll see what happens in less then an hour.
I bet your stick crashes or freezes up and you'll be having to reflash that stick back to 4.1.1 if you can..

Although I haven't tested out Finless 2.1, I did test out the 4.2.2 the rom was based on, and was pretty impressed with it. I have seen people bring up issues like benchmarks not running correctly, but that and crashing could be due to anything, from bad install, to 4.2.2 testing your PSU more. Everyone uses their devices differently, and if you used 1080p and Ethernet then your view may change on it.
Finless is a talented man, I doubt he made the rom any worse, and would of discovered if there was some big problems, not to mention its been out for a while with only a few people having issues.
Also, bare in mind, all these devices are being shipped with 4.2.2 on them from now on.Currently Using:

Thanks for the replies!
Mine does have the RK901 chipset, I opened it a couple of days ago to see if I had an original or clone. However... no matter what I try it will not be recognized by the ROM flash tool nor go into flash mode... I read the instructions carefullly but none of the methods have worked, including the reset button one (which actually brings up the volume dial... ). Windows 7 does the "boing" sound and installs the driver and I can see the contents of the NAND flash but the flash tool will not see it... it always says "No found RKAndroid rock USB". I tried pressing the reset button with the unit powered off and then connect the USB cable while holding it but I got into a recovery screen and still not detected by the flash tool... Windows device manager says the driver is up to date and shows it as MK808...
Any thoughts?

Thanks kididaho, but I think I have covered most of those possibilities...
- I was using only the OTG port for power connected to one of the USB ports on a vaio laptop ( I don't actually own a desktop anymore...).
- The device would powerup and boot so I'm guessing power is there from USB.
- It would also "boing" and detect an MK808 device that appears in the device manager.
- I could access the NAND flash contents from the computer
- "Connect to PC" was checked in the USB options and "Enable USB debugging" was unchecked. However, I do not have/could not find the other options you mention regarding Media and mass storage. I do have the 4.2.2 android so maybe it's different in this?
- Pressing the reset button with a clip brought up the volume bar ??? and did not reset the unit.
- At some point pressing the reset button and then plugging the OTG cable brought up a blue recovery menu.
- I even tried updating the driver from the device manager but windows said it was up to date...
The flash tool never recognized the device...
I'm pretty sure I have an original MK808 since it looks just like some photos posted elsewhere and has the RK901 chip.
Any other suggestions? This is a bummer as I would really like to get rid of all the chinese apps, get the cool new features AND start using my subscription to Netflix!
Best wishes,
P.

The other setting for USB is in storage. Once there use the menu icon for more options. If mass is checked, check something else then check mass again.
When in flash mode.you should have no display.
Once you have settings checked. Press and hold reset till PC dongs.
Rk utility should now see it.
Let us know
Good luck
P.s. once you have successfully put both USB options on you should see two different icons in status bar.. USB symbol and jelly bean

Thanks again! Will try when I get home from work and let you know the outcome.

OK, I've gotten around to check what was suggested but, in fact, there is no menu icon when in the storage display... I took a few screenshots that I'm attaching. It would seem like someone crammed a ROM meant for a tablet in here just to show off the 4.2.2 version of Android (see also screenshot, that I'm actually reading off the NAND flash through the laptop). In fact, when shutting down it says "your tablet will shut down"
Also, my storage space shows as NAND flash (4.14 GB) and internal storage (1.48 GB)...
Any help at this point would be greatly welcome. Thanks in advance!
OK, cannot attach the files??? Here's is what's in the "about device":
Model number - MK808
Android version - 4.2.2
Kernel version - 3.0.36+; rjh@rjh-Pegatron #4; Tue Mar 19 09:53:27 HKT 2013
Build number - mk808_v301j2; 2013-03-25 20:49:54
