I see this as well in Netflix. Moving the mouse seems to smooth out the video.

Yeah it's weird... it fixes the problem in every video program I try. I guess I just need to drink about a gallon of coffee and keep my hand on the mouse if I want to watch something....If my work benefits you and you want to help out the cause, feel free to

I can tell you something is very odd with this kernel. Anyone notice just after power on when you start to use the device the screen blanks out for a second or two?

Also, I have had no sound from the MK908 since I got it. It is connected to an a/v receiver with hdmi input. I've used this same setup with my nexus 4 and the sound worked that way.

Hey guys... after playing around a lot......
Please try this frame skip but use a wired USB mouse not a wireless one.
I think there might be some buss contentions going on here.
So the idea is. FLash the ROM and start over.
Use a WIRED USB keyboard and mouse. NOT a wireless with dongle etc. Wired please.
Than see if the skipping is still there and if it goes away when you use the mouse.
Thanks,

I am having the blanking issue *very* frequently while using a usb mouse in the full size usb port and a bluetooth keyboard with the stock os. I tried turning off bluetooth and the problem persists.
I don't know how the upgrade would be done from the devices I have: Debian wheezy pc and Android 4.2.2 nexus 4.
Also, I have never had sound come through on the hdmi interface. I was watching a Netflix video and there was no sound; no system or notification sounds, etc.
Thanks, Finless, for your efforts. :-)
