OK I'm a noob i need help with this i have followed every tutorial, tried every ROM/ firmware nothing works i have the screenshots below as proof. i don't get the led light but when i connect the box to the computer it is recognized and the drivers are installed successfully. the problem now is whenever i start the process with the USB burning tool it just goes to 2% and then fails or the driver disconnects. im so frustrated right now please help

We understand your frustration Its ours too. This is not anyone heres problem its actually yours for buying a device thats not supported. Jeep if the manufacture has firmware that will help getting it running. But software is based on the system. Ive seens many posts of the 2 percent issue and some have solved it. Ill see if i can find the post.

I have a VENSMILE M8S s812 2/8 gb . I was trying diferent firmwares and finally bricked it. No blue light nothing, can not get into recovery at all ,but my pc can see it in usb burning tool- it says connect success.
I required from seller firmware and he sent me but the usb burn tool wont proceed (parse burn image fail) so i need you to PLEASE advise me what method to use? sd card or usb burning tool and find me firmware
The plate inside the box writes M8 V8-9

In the first attempt it stopped and said parse burn image fail ,so i changed the name of the img file and erased all the chinese letters and then ...success.
I was torturing myself 3 weeks testing img files that could not work.

Hi all! Can someone please help, I am getting desperate... I flashed what apparently is wrong firmware and now my M8S doesn't boot. The LED light comes on, but there is no picture on the tv. I can not get it to recovery mod (by pressing the button with a toothpick). I tried connecting it to my PC via USB, but nothing happens, as I probably need to short some pins before connecting to the pc. I am just not sure which pins are those? Here is a picture of my board (it is M8 V8_6).

Here is :
1. Amlogic boot card maker - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8u...ew?usp=sharing
2. autoboot.zip - em9 img firmware + burning ini - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8u...ew?usp=sharing
3. Stane_20150204-eny_m9.zip - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8u...ew?usp=sharing

Download all and unzip.

Create boot sd card :
Find 1-2 gb sc card and put in to card reader , connect to pc usb.
Run Amlogic boot card maker, chose drive letter your sd card , select u-boot.bin from unpacked autoboot.zip - create bootable sd card.
Copy files from autoboot to sd card root directory : aml_upgrade_package.img, u-boot.bin, and aml_sdc_burn.ini - from new_autorom folder

Next :
1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on
You should now upload to the software. The LED should blink. if not , try a few times. If this does not help, you should use the method of short NAND pins . I used play dough and needles I put the post with play dough to keep the needle
Next :
1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on

Now he must upload software. When finished it will restart and begin to start.
Do not worry if the software itself will load and TV box does not start to an end , it will blink Launcher window - loop .
Then turn off the power.
Take your SD card , delete files on the PC with the exception of u- boot.bin , this file needs to be ,and copy the files of unpacked Stane_20150204-eny_m9.zip
Next :

1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on

You should now upload to the software. If not you are in recovery mode , and flash manual update from sdcard - eny_m9-ota-20150204.zip
This firmware works - but no wifi , and 4gb memory only.

I think - firmware is wrong/bad, not for this model m8s. Try this solution (link) ,or find another firmware.

You try boot from sdcard :

1. Find correct u-boot.bin to make boot sdcard.
2 try use my recovery TWPR
3. copy recovery to sdcard, and try boot.... if Not wrok, try short pins method,..if not work try other u-boot.bin...if not work try other u-boot.bin.......if not work....
