strauzo con quale programa posso unire tutti i file di un custom rom ad un unico file come quello della tronsmart, il update.img che ha tutti i componenti in un unico file. questo mi serve perche non posso conettere il t428 al pc. posso mettere il rom solo tramite la sd card. grazie

i'm uploading a new rom for that reason I have not kept my promise to you. sorry.

you can use wendal tool. there are many guide in this forum and in other forum. i have only a suggestion for this rk3188. you need also the backup image that you can get also from another rom when you decompress it with the same wendal tool.

thx, i just packed an update file with the wendal tool and i used your rom components. ill copy it to the sd card and flash it. i didnt change the recovery img. i left the original one from the stock rom. is it ok or it is needed to have your recovery.img

In developer options, there is a checkbox "Stay Awake" . If you use this, your device never sleep.

Bluetooth Airmouse works fine, Wireless good too. As the U4B and Tronsmart T428 are identical, as far as I can tell, this should be good for the T428 too.

What is doesn't have is the ability to read exFAT which other ROMs do. Can this be added simply or will it require a developer to intervene?

I've just tested this and .... IT WORKS!

Bluetooth Airmouse works fine, Wireless good too. As the U4B and Tronsmart T428 are identical, as far as I can tell, this should be good for the T428 too.

What is doesn't have is the ability to read exFAT which other ROMs do. Can this be added simply or will it require a developer to intervene?

Well the usb otg port is broken so i think my the device now is a ddamn sitting duck. Nice really, device gone from arriving to broken in 3 dayys. I must have set some kind of record

Strange. I got the 'bot but with commands visible as the cache was cleared etc. Took 3 minutes or so to boot. There is a previous thread saying that it is possible to use U4B ROMs http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...well-(-CLONE-)

Perhaps it is the format that is the problem? Is there any way to convert an update.img file into its constituent .img files? Or to 'dump' them from my stick? I'm happy to follow instructions to get these files for others.

Yes it is possible, if you have some experience compiling in linux and using any rk3188 kernel source.
