Thanks for the update Strauzo. My tv will only allow me to resize the display when the input is through the DVI port (like a PC). The options don't feature when plugged into HDMI ports. So it kind of defeats the purpose to have an HDMI stick that you have to have an adaptor for.

I have to ask you though, if you are really trying to keep this ROM clean and unaltered from the Android standard, why is there still a Screen scale slider in the settings if it doesn't actually work? Is the screen scale slider an Android standard or not? And why is there an hdmiscreen.scale property in the build.prop if that doesn't work either?

Running "am display-size Width x Length" sort of works but it seems to only support certain ratios and still ends up off the screen.

Just a thought, but I've had luck with the screenslider option by switching out the boot.img. Here's one I made:

Just use strauzo's flash tool, uncheck everything except for boot, and browse it to my boot.img.. can't hurt to try. This fixed a rom for me that was having the same issue.

So far, no rom was able to do that on my t428 and my 2 year old LG tv

I have a 3 years old LG, you are sure you do not have in image setting "Aspect Ratio". It work for me.

It was when I was repacking your 4.2.2 rom. With my kernel the slider didn't work. The auto-fit did but I know that doesn't work for everybody. The rom I took the boot from is the one from geekbuying's forum in the mk908 section that claims to fix bluetooth keyboards. It's the boot included in my jjhmod 1.3 rom also. I edited it and used your boot.img as reference material for my changes but really didn't change much. I added init.d and a custom bootlogo and I think that was about it. The stock rom I got the boot from has the kernel in boot so I had to strip it.

I have no T428 so I can't test for sure but I'm going to guess it would work. I will say it helps to do a complete idb erase and flash all parts at once.. otherwise you may have problems with mounting nand.

I should say I haven't even heard back if it works with strauzo's rom or not. I have not personally tried it.

Tried it using strauzo's latest multi window and no luck on my t428

I flashed the latest nexus rom (T428 Nexus SDK2 Multi-Windows v1.2) but I have NO SOUND. I changed the build.prop according the advices to see the volume buttons but still no sound. What did I do wrong??

I used this ROM (nexus multi-windows 1.2) with the Finless 4.2.2 Kernel for CX-919 and its works perfectly.
(I tested only in the CX-919).

How did you accomplish that exactly. I only got black screen on mine.

I used the tool where you can unmark all the other things and only flashed the kernel.

That did not work for me on my CX919

Maybe I used the wrong kernel, link?
