T428 Nexus SDK 2 Multi-Windows v1.2

with all latest patches

in settings-display never sleep
usb audio patch (with soundabout app the usb audio device switches automatically)
calendar and gallery in multi windows style
browser syncronization


p.s.
If you have a television that automatically adapt the hdmi resolution (85% of new tv) this rom is very very good. Some my friends with old tv, have discovered, that this functionality was present even if in the first trials could not find it. (read the service manual of your tv)

For the back button with the mouse, all mouse with more that two button can do this. Or automatically, or with the customization of the generic.kl keylayout file.

But i suggest, to take advantage of all the features of an android hdmi stick, to use DroidMote. (especially for real multi-touch functionality)

in August i take a break in the development of Rom, i will follow from my mobile devices.

Thanks for the update Strauzo. My tv will only allow me to resize the display when the input is through the DVI port (like a PC). The options don't feature when plugged into HDMI ports. So it kind of defeats the purpose to have an HDMI stick that you have to have an adaptor for.

I have to ask you though, if you are really trying to keep this ROM clean and unaltered from the Android standard, why is there still a Screen scale slider in the settings if it doesn't actually work? Is the screen scale slider an Android standard or not? And why is there an hdmiscreen.scale property in the build.prop if that doesn't work either?

Running "am display-size Width x Length" sort of works but it seems to only support certain ratios and still ends up off the screen.

They are great to bring to hotels, friend's houses, etc... Though wifi signal often disappoints :/

For the TV, try to disable overscan. It is enabled on most LG and Sony devices, and I've met Samsung TVs with it enabled by default. After that, it should "just work".

Those settings are there because no ROM can be clean completely unless we build it from AOSP source. What Strauzo did was to get the cleanest RK31 ROM possible, from a tablet with the new SDKv2 (and multi-window). This fortunately misses many of the crappy features the Rockchip engineers thought would be good to have (mouse right-click, etc.), but still has some features from the tablet, like HDMI settings (I believe I can fix this to an extent).
