I suppose it might be possible to get back to Android via the recovery button and an SD update.zip(maybe even OE), but I have not done that myself.

e123enitan Good to hear. balbes150 does very nice work.
RISCy Dude, you referenced balbes150's ddBR. What is it? And where is it located?
    THanks

Hello Doggyofone, His ddBR is for backup and restore of the S95's installed firmware(partitions) and an option to also backup/restore apps and user data to SD card or flash drive. This is done thru a Linux distro, in this case Armbian running from SD card. For info on balbes150's ddBR see post #24 here. Might want to read thru that thread for relative content. I have used it to make a backup on my Meta, but have not attempted a restore from the backup yet. Successful backup and restore has been done by balbes150 on his Telos. It is a work in progress.
Using ddBR means the S95 will not need to be connected to a PC to return to Android, after having installed something like Remix OS, provide ddBR was used to backup Android before flashing Remix OS.

Hi, i have bought this s905 tv box : http://www.geekbuying.com/item/MXQ-P...-0-366249.html can any one tell me if i could dual boot it with openelec ? I cannot find anything related to MXQ PRO+ 4k (2gb ram and 16gb rom) so i am not sure what is different for a 1gb/8gb s905

A couple of quick observation's of OE on the Telos WiFi is quirky on reboot get some crazy IP Addy's with no connection..random sometimes does it sometimes not. Fixed by using a Linksys game adapter hooked to Ethernet port ..perfect no issues now ( run wired in OE settings and shut off wireless option ).

Second really strange on reboot I lose all home screen icons and weather and background art on every reboot ......install again same thing ......strange ( easy fix ...just don't shut off )

Third ... On stock remote you used to press the 3 lines button ,when playing a movie this would bring up the menu bar at bottom of screen ( stop, pause, play, ffwd, rwnd ) now it brings up frame rate info for movie ( fix use a different remote )

Thanks balbes ..for all you have done

              Hi
To enable multi-boot You can use the universal script. It is suitable for all models. You can use OE on external media (SD card or USB flash drive) from Telos. Just remember to replace the dtb file on your.
There is one limitation. If You want to install OE in the internal memory (eMMC), please specify which option you use. When installed on the internal memory not the correct file, there is a risk to brick.

                1. Perhaps Wi-Fi when you download is not connected due to different time clock (these devices have no built-in clock for storing time). Some of the encryption options is very demanding on the installations hours on devices.
2 and 3 Describe in detail what you do and what does not work. What version of the system used. I'll try to reproduce it on your device.

Check these posts - You may want to consider installing the SD Robots firmware first. Also the instructions/files needed for installing on the Pro+ are the same as required for the Tronsmart Meta. Balbes150 has posted everything needed on page 1. MXQ Pro+ - Instructions for Installing sd-robots firmware With TWRP - FreakTab.com Step by Step Instructions on How to Install Openelec on MXQ Pro+ Dual Boot Via SD Card - FreakTab.com

Access through network directory /storage/config and copy file remote.conf from your TV box. 4. Restart the OE. Either second variant. 1. Install the PC driver ext2fs. 2. Connect media OE to PC. 3. Copy the file remote.conf in the config directory on media with OE.
balbes150, I found remote.conf via ES File explorer in Android on the MXQ Pro+ box. I copied the remote.conf from the box to a USB drive and deleted the .txt extension that Windows added. Then using Windows Explorer I copied remote.conf from the USB drive into OE configfiles on the SD card. I booted into OE and the remote does most things but the enter key doesn't work.
Do you know how to repair the file so that the enter key works?

@ balbes150, Any plan to support Librelec as it appears to catch up with Kodi on Alpha Krypton, while Openelec Jarvis is not finalized, or Could one just update Openlelec with Librelelc tar file and what is implications of doing so?
                      Thanks for your thoughts.

I do not advise to upgrade to Libreelec with current versions of Openelec. This is especially dangerous when you install Openelec to the internal memory (eMMC). Can turn into a brick.

                              Hi Balbes

                              Version 6.95.37.0

when you put the add-on icons below the "video" and "program" section on the home page ( and the weather info ) if you reboot the Telos I lose all the icons and have to reinstall ( I do not lose the addon just the icon on the home page )

Second when in a playing movie ( or TV show ) cannot get to the play/stop buttons at bottom of screen ( should have to press the middle button on bottom of remote to pull this menu up ) but what it does now is show frame rate info of the movie

With the wifi I even had OE wait 30 sec before starting ..(wait for connection) still random on when it gets a good connection , some times it works sometimes it does not

                              Thanks

Sometimes these kind of things can be resolved by changing channels in your router(if 2.4GHz). There is an Android app to help determine the best channel to use. WiFi Analyser or similar.
