    Bad news....It formats and loads everything without hassle.
    However, when it tries to reboot it powers off and acts brick-like.
    I attempted twice....re downloaded it and tried that twice as well.
    Still no dice.....sorry

      CRAP!..... HARD stop....

      OK I have a few other ideas but this can be the make or break.

      Tomorrow I have alot to do so it may be Monday to try again

          Do me one favor and lets make sure I did not mess up something simple.

          Take system.img and boot.img from my GOOD ROM kit and copy them into this ROM kit and reflash make sure they work.

          Just to see if some change I made I missed. It should work.

            Replaced the boot.img & system.img files with those from your 1st ROM and reflashed.
            everything flashed, reformatted and booted fine.

              OK taking a step back. Let's just make sure I can make a good boot.img with no changes.

                OK big step back.

                I want to see if I can take apart boot.img and put it back together with no changes and make a boot.img that works..... So lets see if that works.

                So this is a little compliacted now with all the test files so far. What I want you to do is:

                1) Take the last ROM KIT test 5 and use it
                2) Take system.img from the good test1 kit (like you just did) and use that.
                3) Use this boot.img from the download below

                Again no changes from what you just did and got a good working ROM excpet this boot.img is about testing if I can take it apart and make one.

                Here is the download for boot.img I want you to use.

                  Flashed it twice with no success.....hard stops like before.
                  I will re-download the boot.img and try again.

                    So it appears I cannot reconstruct boot.img. That doesnt make sense because it is just a cramfs partition?
                    Although there have been a few iterations of cramfs. BUt usually if I can mount it I can make it.

                    I will investigate more and we will try a few iterations of boot.img

                    Please reflash the working kit 1 with that last parameter file and settings.ini

                    From this point you will just be flashing boot.img only with the tool not the entire ROM so we can figure this out.

                      I think I found the error. boot.img even though it is cramfs needs a CRC.
                      Whats wierd is for rk29 you can get by without it when using RKAndroid tool.
                      But it is worth a try.

                      Let me know when your ready to test again a new boot.img. We have to get to where I can make a good one before modification.

                        OK here is a new unedited boot.img
                        All I did was unpack it, repack it, and re CRC it.

                        Man I hope it works this time!

                        So use test kit 1 that works and make sure your 4300 boots.
                        replace boot.img in test kit 1 (save the old boot.img as you may need it to recover!). For now you do not have to use my last peramater file or setting.ini file. Lets just use the originals from test kit 1 for now to eliminate any issues. I just want to see if I can make a working boot.img.

                        Run the flash tool and uncheck everything other than boot.img
                        flash only this new boot.img.

                        If that does not work, then try flashing the complete ROM and eraseIDB.
