I'm sure that you will do an excellent job as always and as you say, this Jarvis version has a lot of life in it yet and could not ask for more funtionality than this offers.

Or at least for me as although I use Krypton on other platforms, I've yet to utilise anything new that it offers,

True, but the ppl always like the latest as you know lol
But i as getting to the limite that i could do on 16 so was time to move on.
And yes the 16 still have lots of life ahead

is there a newer build than what came on the custom SC ROM for Beelink Ultimate? I seem to have lots of issues with my Pulse CCM build since using FTMC as opposed to true Kodi.

Will version 17 of ftmc still support rockchip 3229?

maybe, all depend if the free time that i have to implement rkcodec... i really dont like doing brands work!

Thanks Superceleron for this new release. I recently installed the rockship 30 version on my RKM MK68, mainly to try to play h264 level 4.0 videos better.

All works fine but after turning on the rockship acceleration the playback of any video file causes ftmc to fail.

Relevant messages in the log are:
      /system/lib/librkffplayer.so
      15:34:28.505 T:18446744072346207496 WARNING: Unable to resolve: /librkffplayer.so RK_CodecInit, reason: undefined symbol: RK_CodecInit

      15:34:28.506 T:18446744072346207496   ERROR: RKCodec: m_dll load fail!
The librkffplayer.so library is in the mentioned path on my player.

Am i missing something? Or is the codec not suited for the mk68

Are you using the files from here?

Remember that when replacing any original files that you also set the same permissions.

Thanks, that worked. Rk codec is working. Although the pixel loss is still the same. The box plays level 3.1 flawless and level 4.0 with dropped pixels.
Are these the limitations of the chip? I,m still on the factory rom, switch to a 'true octa' rom?

The only difference that I could see between 3.1 and 4 is that 4 contains various minor corrections (whatever they may be) and adding three aspect ratio indicators.

So not sure if this is more of a firmware issue.

Well that is a firmware issue since is works ok on many other RK boxes (roms) from levels 1 to 5.1!

Ok, thanks for the feedback. First time to try to put another rom on any device... i did not find a specific rkm mk68 rom, but will try one of mo123 builds. Any suggestions for a closest match?

By further looking i found the somewhat older rom mk68 by SuperCeleron.

Amazing work here guys, this is the only Kodi fork that actually shows 1080p @60 fps in system info on my TX2 R2 based on RK3229. Only real problem is that GUI sounds aren't working. In any case, im really looking forward to the Krypton version. Rockchip devices need some Krypton love badly
