Thanks Gormar, I just got round to trying your suggestion. After connecting my Ethernet adapter I get the following in dmesg

USB 3-1: device not accepting address 6, error -110
Indeed it is in host mode hprt0 = 00001500
Indeed it is in host mode hprt0 = 00001501

Note that it is actually not an R89 I'm using this ROM on but an MK903V. Although the ROM appears to work perfectly other than Ethernet.

Actually forget that initial message , I tried disconnecting and reconnecting again and get a different result. The product is identified correctly as an AX88x72A but I still can't seem to activate Ethernet.

When you connect external Ethernet adapter does it appear in "ip link" list?

I checked the output of IP link before and after connecting the adapter but there was no change. There is an eth0 entry but it's state is 'down'.

I also tried changing the USB mode in developer options to RNDIS which resulted in an rndis0 line being added but that is in a 'down' state also.

First of all thanks to wasser for the extraordinary work he have done!

Second I would like to ask about an issue.

I have installed the 4.0.11 rom to a Tronsmart R28 and I am 99,99% satisfied.

The 0,01 percent refers to the non working remote.

Is there a possible fix for it? is there any guide available?

Is there any recommendation about another working remote with this rom?

Hello Pavlitos80. I'm affraid that Tronsmart changed theirs remote send with Orion R28 TV Box. There is a solution but someone has to send you modified resource.img.

So either I get used with a simple mouse for android interface and Kore/Yatse for Kodi or I should get a decent air remote control that will solve all those problems.

I don't see any other easy solution!

It's just a pitty that the original is wasted!

Anyway we can't have it all!

I had just a little issue about the wifi speed connection. it was connected to 5Ghz at 200 Mbit/s, after searching into the forum, I have just changed the Wifi Region from Europe to US and now it is at 390 Mbit/s

to specify the region code for WIFI (Settings->Wifi->Advanced Wi-Fi->Wi-Fi region code)

Hi wasser as a great fan of your excellent roms I'm using the marshmallow v. 4.0.11 on my Beelink R89 box and the marshmallow 64bit v. 4.0.2 on my Beelink i68 box. For me everything is running fine beside the Tagesschau 2.0 app.
On the i68 the app is working fine:

Well Wasser isn't really a chatty one.

As far as what he is doning in real life or whatever he does else or works on (new boxes? Rk3399? Another update for rk3288 or rk3368) nobody knows.

We only know that he is german and that he makes awesome stuff for boxes that would otherwise be far from their potential. Like the stuttering mess the b89 was (official is still on kitkat) before he startet with his mods.

So to sum it up: He is the silent and humble Messias of Rockchip TvBoxes

Would really like more info of him... Maybe a paetron page ore something else.

Hi, I have Ugoos UT3 and have problem with sound output. I'm using analog A/V output (not HDMI or SPDIF) and try all 3 kind of output in system settings: system default, spdif and HDMI output, but none of them works - no sound. Original fw from ugoos works with no problem with A/V output. Is there any solution to resolve that problem, because I really need marchmellow on my Ugoos

i have a UT3 too and if i can remember good i always had no Audio on latest Wasser Roms too ,

to different FW parts or HW parts ???

All UT3 Users have to wait till Ugoos will release Android 7 and Chrome OS , like they promised

weeks before . ( 2 Weeks like they said on there Site , until now 2 Month ) , we have to wait till

Month 6/7 maybe ???
