Anybody else having problems with settings->keyboard->current keyboard [Android keyboard (AOSP)]->Configure->Languages. I toggle Use system language off and select 2 active input methods but it doesn't stick. It will revert to use system language toggle on after reboot and sometimes during use.
Disregard. Now using google keyboard app instead.Last edited by sd26; 08 September 2016, 06:53.

Hi, After juggling with Tanix TX5 Pro and Mini M8S II, here are my findings;
1. Mini M8S II: BT does not work.
2. Both: pop-up confirmation panel in some apps are not clickable.
3. Both: some apps disappear in orath application screen, but reappear after removing Nova launcher.
4. Both: MicroSD card 32G(UHS-I or class 10 speed) read/write speed is slow as attached.
I didn't test it with orig F/W, so I am not sure if it's the same or not..

3. I found Asus Zen Launcher to be more suitable than Nova for use on TV box, if you want a phone-like launcher. Or search for Simple TV Launcher for a better alternative to Orath.

They don't support UHS speeds and so are essentially still stuck in the past.

I gotta update post. I think it was cause of me having xposed installed with xprivacy. I used it to do a lot of spoofing to get another app to work with the box. The other app did work and worked well but not sure why it messed with the games. After uninstalling the games played way better with only a slight lag here and there.Last edited by esloudan; 11 September 2016, 00:23.

Yes I have found that having Xposed on other boxes can cause issues with apps and general feel of a device but glad that you recognised it and will be a useful pointer to others that may come across the same issue.
One other thing that I have found can also help with freeing up resources is to use a startup manager.
It's amazing how many apps want to run in the background at startup that really don't need to be there, so i alway pick only the ones I want and deny the rest access until I want them to run.

There are quite a few free utilities on the Play Store that do it but the one I first encountered and have used ever since is this
Might also be worth looking at this too, which is a crap cleaner as well, so more functionality in one.
Just be careful when looking at system apps as many really do need to run at startup but there are a few that are not really required.
