Alfawise H96 Pro+ Android 6.0, 3/32GB DDR3, Gig Lan, Dual WiFi and BT

Hi all, I got my Alfawise H96 Pro + few days ago, worked few hours with out any issues but later started getting dots on the screen (Lot of graphics artifacts). It goes away when I tap the box or when I press the top of the box applying a bit of pressure. Seems like a lose connection to me, but can anyone please advise on what should I be looking for on opening the box? Gearbest didn't help me much and are asking me to pay 30$ for shipping a new one and I rater try and fix this one than paying almost half of the price for replacement. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would first try another HDMI cable. Then opening the box and looking for bad solderings. But if you want to make a claim against gearbest, the do have some terrible warranty policy so that you end up paying more money whatever solution the propose to you.If you think the box is defective I recommend making a claim via Paypal instead and go for a full refund.

I ordered it for a friend and ended up paying 30$ for shipping new product and handling fee. Gearbest really so not have a good customer support. My experience with Ali Express has been very good.

hi guys! I've been stalking the thread since the start of this month. and now that my box has arrived, I'm pretty stoked to maximize its capabilities.
I got a generic 4k box 3G RAM/32G ROM that says CZ-S32-V3 (DDR4) on the board and 4 usb ports total (2 hidden).
Any custom ROMs available for this box?
Or anyway to backup my whole rom from recovery?
I'm also wondering about the DLNA, has anyone used this box as an Airplay device?

1) I would like to know if Minix Neo A2 Lite Air mouse would be good for it . Any other recommendations also would be appreciated.
2) I am not able to change Netflix big ICON on home screen, can anyone let me know how to change from Netflix icom to KODI icon.
3) I also want to change boring blue screen with something else or any other launcher etc which looks neat and clean.

Please guide and help new member.

I personally like The Rii mini i8+ (backlit version). There is supposed to be a microphone? in the bottom...never worked for me. But the whole keyboard/touch pad in your palm and does not take up a lot of couch or coffee-table space makes this a winner.

I originally loved the Rii Mini i28 ..the fit and solid construction...but the battery life grew bad after 8-12 months( 2 units). The left mouse key failed on both after 6-9 months.. Average price was $39 USD.

I think you will find that most of these type of remotes work with generic android devices. If you are also looking for a remote which powers on and off plus keyboard...maybe a MX3 remote, possibly an advanced Logitech learning remote? Kind of expensive. Maybe someone else has a opinion for a better remote.

1. is ok to use I prefer Logitech 400r
2. , + 3. you can try different launchers, but most of the larger icons are fixed.

1) I have got Netflix in home screen icon and not KODI, is it possible to remove Netflix and put KODI large icon there?
2) Can you let me know which launcher would be good and how can i do that ? Any detail explanation on this or post would be highly welcomed? Will this cause any problem with my OTA or void warranty?
