hot really hot that rom... normal usage my H96 its 81cº.... damn... something really wrong it with it, need to dig deeper since the cpu usage its always between 20% to 50% at all times, that is not good!

Using applications such greenify or root booster, can reduce the use of cpu... mine is working at 5% in idle with firm 08.03 with this apps.

The temps can be measured real time with cputemp app.
But we must remember that the device lacks ventilation and is almost hermetically closed, the best way to improve temps is modding.

yes... the box case are not good.
But still it should be ok from stock without the need to add extra apps!
Well i already started modding, modded DVFS now all 8 cpu cores are at 1.5ghz instead of 4 at 1.5ghz and 4 at 1ghz and oced a bit the gpu from 666mhz to 792mhz!
And other little tweaks, but still needs lots of work!

I drilled 4 3/8" holes in the top cover right over the CPU heat sink . and few others on the top and bottom of the box . I will reopen it and add some cooling vents to sides of the box .

I noticed the MECOOL M8S PRO is well vented and running 7.1

Hola, intente actualizar a android 7.1 mediante Burn_Card_Maker y una tarjetas microSD. Todo iba bien y me salio la pantalla de upgrading, el problema viene cuando cambie la tv de canal y al volver no se veía imagen y ahora enciende el dispositivo pero no hay imagen. He probado pulsando el boton recovery pero no funciona ¿alguna solución?

tendras que utilizar un cable usb a to usb a para actualixarlo de nuevo mediamte el programa de actualizacion en windows. o seguir algun tutorial para hacerlo de nuevo con la tarjeta. has probado a resetear el aparato, llegas a ver el menu de recovdery?

you must use usb a to usb a to upgrade again using the program running in windows. or using some totorial to upgrade again with the card. did you tried reset the d'eviced, can you see the recovery menu?

Gracias por tu respuesta. No me sale imagen ninguna y a través del pc no me lo detecta y he probado en dos pc diferentes. Creo que necesitaría el firmware stock pero el zip con el archivo uboot.bin ect pero no lo encuentro

cant detect mine also on the PC . I know the cable is okay I used it on an older box no problem .
