I extracted unzip_to_sd_XTMOD_EX_P.zip to my microsd. Then in x96 I used a widget to boot to recovery. Normally this will bring me to x96 recovery where there is menu to update from sdcard, wipe cache, etc. But this time, with your files in the micro sd card, there was no recovery menu, the flashing ran automatically with the green android robot animation. Then it finished and automaticall restarted. The the bootloop happen. The photo that I've taken above was about 2 seconds before the x96 reboot automatically. There are 2 lines of error messages after "Done processing script file", then it quickly reboot so I couldn't take any picture.
There are other files inside the root of the micro sd besides your files from my experiment the other day. I thought they are harmless. They are:
Connecting male to male usb cable to either of the usb ports on x96 doesn't make the box is recognized by my pc (win 10). There is no device in usb burning tool 2.0.8.
So do the things as they should be done, if you have yet a working twrp use just update.zip without anything inside.
If not put my files in a empty sd card eand use toothpick method.
About device not recognized ... it's difficult to explain...but if you do not click reset button when you connect usb cable your device will never be recognized. But i understand that read how to do things it's a pain.

I just use your rom for a few hours, yet it feels much much better than the stock rom. The root of my problem was, I just found out about the hidden reset button inside the AV out jack. Now I can get my x96 recognized in usb burning toolThanks once again..
Do not worry, you're welcome, enjoy my rom.

CHeck with receiverstop, or can you give me a link to your app, probably is simpler to remove root check?
I can do a unrooted rom, but what i need i this particular period is time, t do that on my pc half an hour (just to check everything), but then i need time to upload, and write to all that is a special version or they will whine that is unrooted and many messages to explain.
I hope you understand it's not that i wouldn't like to help you.
The app is called Yelo-tv from belgian Telenet provider, I can give you my login credentials to test if you want.
Can't find a non-rooted rom that supports my x96 to test if it's the rom or some kind of internal switch check...

Yes it does. Unplug the power cable. Press and hold the reset button, and at the same time plug the usb cable (which also provides power to the box). Then my x96 is recognized in usb burning tool.

Hi. I had the same problem, also a TV app. I succesfully fully unrooted, by this method.
1 Uninstall tv app, if you have it installed.
2 Buildprop... all userdebug change to user, all test-keys change to release-keys
3 Start super su, update binary if needed. Reboot.
4 Uninstall all root hide/checker apps
5 Start xposed framework , download xposed uninstaller in exposed, uninstall and reboot.
6 Uninstall xposed app in apps.
7 Start supersu and full unroot in options. reboot.
8 Install tv app.
Now i can use the tv app. i think more and more apps are checking for xposed and any sign of test and debug in build.prop, for root check.
