I managed to replace kernel and boot from rom that worked on my device, but booting process is stuck

So I am patiently waiting for fix

Could you make a small tutorial to enable Bluetooth on my K-R42 please? I think many readers would be interested and very happy and it would be great...


I understand that it was possible to insert a driver, at least for me, when I plug in a USB bluetooth, Android system does not recognize, and I tested with different keys and firmwares from this website...


Will it be possible to explain in detail, because I am a novice.

Genrally we only need BT driver (and a dobgle) to get BT on KR42 working.

But we wou;d have to wrote a driver for dongle's chip or find dongle based on T-R42 chip.

I installed your new firmware and tested a bit (not much yet). Everything seems ok so far. There are some minor things like weird shutdown behavior i want to re-test as i believe they have to do with my usb devices im plugging in.

One thing i notice when i switched to 1080p kernel, is that the overall performance is bad. The android interface is quite glitchy (including the mouse rendering) and the gaming performance is poor.

The antutu benchmark gave me 19700 for 720p and 17500 for 1080p which i thought it was realistic.
Then i downloaded a newer kernel from wasser (kernel-k-r42-1080p-011113-1.img) from here
and used your "flash custom kernel" option to flash it over the default 1080p kernel.

Guess what.. The performace improved a lot! The menu is smooth again, same goes for games and antutu gave me a score of 19200. Great for a non overclocked 1080p kernel.
One bug i had with this kernel was the default upscaling setting is not correct but i fixed that by putting the scaling setting to maximum.Then everything came into place.

I'll keep testing and posting feedback. Great work!

Edit: The 1080p kernel reverted to default (19 sep) after switching resolutions and the menu remains smooth...

I managed to install this software on my K-R42 wchich likes only 1.20 BOOT ver (also i found that does not touch boot.img!)

I will make toturial how to make every rom working on every device :P


Maybe also I will create program for it or something... :P
