Yeah, that's been with all versions of the rom, stock was the same from what I remember...

yes - its going into standby mode and if you touch the mouse its waking up. i would like a full shutdown...or better possibility to choose-shutdown or standby

I try it.
nfs.ko successfully loaded. That's good!

cat /proc/filesystems show me nfs and nfs4

But! When i try mount nfs - player go to reboot.
I try 2 type of mounting:
1) Mount Manager
2) via terminal (su mode) - busybox mount -o nolock,ro,hard,intr <host>:<remotedir> <localdir>

In both case - full reboot.
I don't know, maybe it's only my problem...

the modules are made for r-k42 (rk3188), it could work on minix x7 but not on minix x5!

Yes this problem occurs on all custom versions. On stock rom shutdown works well.

I have installed a shutdown app as a solution but one thing i dont like about shutdown app is that it power off instantly without closing any services (on stock rom it delays 2-3 secons which seems safer), i didnt had any problems though.

you are talking about the stock firmware that was provided with device.
on stock firmware that you can download on geekbuying blog shoutdown dont work.

Thank you! i came back for 1-2 days and im leaving again. Thankfully im close enough from my house in Athens (about 1 hour) and its easy to take care some business without breaking my vacation


@ lewy20041 : Yes im talking about the rom that came with the device. Unfortunatelly i didnt backup that rom to compare it and see what the differencies are. I hope somebody will.. Anyways im very happy with your ROM as it is and looking for the next update.

I just flashed the "stock" image from geekbuying, but it does not shut down properly, and
spotify still has spotty playback
play music still only plays ONE TRACK!
aaauuugghhh.....
REALLY annoying.
I am considering selling my box after finding out which one does work properly with Google Play Music and Spotify... that is really important to me since it is how I listen to my music if not on xbmc locally stored.

when i connect my 1.5 tb 2.5" seagate hdd, it connects and disconnects continously,
also it should have been 8gb rom but it shows 4.26 GB , is it normal? will hdd connection problem be solved
with this custom rom and kernel ?

Is the hdd powered externally or register you powering it by usb from CS918? The usb ports are probably too weak for powering hdd.
