can't downlaod from xbmc installer

Hi, just tried the nre 1080p rom and in the settings tab, the xbmc installer fails to dwonload. Is there anywhere to get xbmc for this device?

@Fredphoesh, I can't tell any different between 720p and 1080p after flashing v1.2.0_1080p. How and where can we set display settings to 1080p? I couldn't find it on the settings on my CS918 flashed with v1.2.0_1080p. Coud you please enlightened me as I am new here.

Hi mate, um on a ferry in Greece! But in your android settings, go to display and there under primary display choose 1080p 25 (or 30if you're in the usa or Japan)

I flashed from the link on geekbuying to my CS918...still no luck. I have the option of 1080p/60hz, but when I select it the screen has red freckles everywhere. Same as before, as best I can tell.

First of all thanks for this great rom,
i tried spif , it worked but only for analog audio, no audio passthrough though
isnt it possible to dts passthrough over spif yet? wasnt it a feature of android 4.2 ?

also for xbmc youtube addon, it always gives error, i checked with my ipad's xbmc and same error is given,
so i guess it is not related to rom or xbmc installer right! and this xbmc with hw acceleration is not supporting different skins i guess.

lewy20041, i upload new 1080p kernel, the sound issue is fixed in this new kernel. the phjanderson's fix is included in this kernel too. several DVB-S(2) and webcams (logitech) are supported in this kernel

after more tests i see that mounting nfs share give a frezze.
can you look into it?

for the new kernel, you need new nfs modules. i will upload the new nfs modules.

your 1080p kernel is like 40%/50% performance boost compare to stock 1080p.

Thanks for your work.

I have a Mele F10 Pro which I am using with the K-R42. The 1.2.0 firmware detects the remote as both a microphone and speaker.

The problem is that after every reboot I have to change the audio as it keeps getting set to the remote speaker. I'm not sure if the microphone gets reset as I think the default (from my Logitech C210 webcam) was what I wanted.

Is this a known issue?

Hi, u good people here. Anyone knows how to flash the firmware without a computer. I have a mk888 box and was using the previous firmware posted here. My pc died yesterday before i can flash the latest firmware.
Anyway other way out? Like using another android device?
