remote does not function for me, cs918 v 1.2.2

For me it is not black or white. Generally the Remote does work. But some Keys don't (e.g. the "color"-keys) and others do not work as expected (e.g. "Back" seems to be "Home").
Additionally the nice feature of switiching to mouse-mode does not work at all.

Btw. Is there a way to get access to the kernel sources and configuration of the kernel used in 1.2.2? I would like to make own changes and build own kernels for myself to investigate the fact that my R-K42 is changing the MAC address of the LAN with every reboot.

Possible do the make firmware without installed programs (Terminal, XBMC, ES Explorer, etc...), without changed bootanimation, without spoofed as Galaxy SIII and etc..?
I want clear firmware (as stock firmware), only with corrected bugs, new modules, original bootanimation and root.

you can uninstall that stuff if you don't want it by removing the apps from /system/app.

also, you can change the startup logo to anything you want, even the original picture
