I always think about hardware that it should do the work intended to do, without delays.. but ofcoarse it is a software matter to handle the rest..

I first thought it must be the firmware, but i tested the airmouse also on a new device with the original firmware, and it did the same thing with the irritating delays.. so it must be the airmouse definitly.

I will post my findings, if i still got any with some other mice!

turn off wifi and see if it still lags.
if so you will need usb cable extender to move away mouse reciver from device.
Everything is possible if we work together!

USB Storage mount problem after reboot?

Depending on what I'm doing with the K-R42 BOX I do reboot few times a day and I never had any problems with USB Storage auto mount. I've got two USB pendrives connected through USB HUB build into my monitor.

On the other hand I encountered some cases when internal NAND flash "sdcard" wasn't mounted :P. I think that might be effect of some race condition somewhere and they can affect only some specific configuration of connected devices.

            Video Sync

I don't know if it has been brought up yet but I am running 2.0.4 and when I reboot the box it does not want to display any video. Also when it resumes from sleep the video will continue to flash like it is trying to synchronize. This is a 720p television I have it hooked up to. What is odd and the way I have to work around the issue is if the k-r42 boots up while the av cable is attached and the tv set to av it boots up without issue. then I can switch the tv back to hdmi and everything is good until next reboot.

Maybe it will work in earlier firmwares but I didn't test that.

              Procedure:
              1. Download kernel package into the box.
              2. Unpack it with ES File Explorer.
              3. Run Terminal Emulator from menu Settings.
              4. Navigate to directory where is extracted kernel image(s).
              5. Enter below command into Terminal Emulator logged as SU:

              flash_image kernel kernel.img

where kernel.img is file name of kernel image which you would like to write into NVRAM.
difficult to do so , you can guide yourself through the video

Gormar, every time when I go into "sleep", does not turn on with the remote " air mouse measy rc 11" , because the usb port stops working , have to turn on the button on the device , usb drive after switching is also not visible, until not reconnect the wire
PS. I think after going to sleep , after some time turning off poll usb ports

For me Sleep doesn't work either. Device wakes up after about 10 seconds. In logcat I got some weird stuff like: "USB HUB not able to suspend". Additionally all USB devices stop to function until reboot.

In firmware 1.2.0 after shutdown, kr 42 can engage with "air mouse", can be fun to do as well in 2.0.5, that the usb ports can not be filled in after the departure of "sleep"
P.s. usb hub I do not use ,now i use firmware 2.0.4 ,
But 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 is still the same problem with the output from "sleep" as 2.0.4 ,
turning on k-r42 from "sleep" is only possible with stock ir remote control or with a set of buttons on the k-r42
Sometimes it freezes after the release of "sleep", helps to reboot

when i connect with wifi , it cannot open a regular video within minutes however speedtest shows 17Mbit speed, but ethernet is flawless, any way to speed it up?
DTS spif passthrough is working, i tried with MX player, for XBMC there is no passthrough option, so when you seleck optical and 5.1 , we hear noise only,
for Xbox360 controller remapping , could you tell me which games is compatible now? i cannot play any of them yet, also Tincore is not working smoothly , closing itself, i wish we could use its analog stick as mouse pointer ,
another point, for XBMC , i installed add ons , skins etc , but instantly sometime when i start XBMC works as if it is working for the first time.

@lewy. Will you be able to make a new build from the new base I gave you? It seems to play video very nicely..

Just ordered one of these for a bargain price of £64.99 and will be looking forward to testing the Custom ROM's soon and giving feedback.
