Wifi/Bluetooth

Hello Wasser,

I believe that the ASIX AX88772 USB to LAN device. Is only for Lan NOT for Wifi or Bluetooth.

I'm quite sure that wasser is aware of that. For WiFi/BT on T-R42 Qualcomm AP6210 is used and there should be such a driver compiled into kernel by now.


But the main question is how it is enabled and/or powered. In K-R42 there is another VR (voltage regulator) IC which after setting GPIO3_A0 output to ON state supply power with 3,3V output into RTL8188 chip.
How this AP6210 on T-R42 is opperated it's hard to say without examining stock firmware first. For example in some designes (particulary QX1) WiFi chip power is supplied from 3,3V line provided by ACT8846 chip on LDO6 output which is unused on K-R42. By default on current kernel this Low Drop voltage regulator Output is set to only 1,8V. You can check it by executing command:
cat /sys/class/regulator/regulator.10/microvolts

Latest Firmware

Hello Wasser,

I installed the New Kernel.
Checked Wired Ethernet is working fine.
I then Disabled The Wired Ethernet and Checked the Wifi Box (before it Would NOT let Me Check it) but it still Does NOT enable.
So I tried the Bluetooth and When I check it , it enables and Tells me That there are No Bluetooth Devices Found ... As I do NOT have a Bluetooth Device it looks Like the Bluetooth Option is Now Working but not the Wifi ...

I did a Dmesg and lsmod with just wired Ethernet ... the Output text files start with nxxx.txt and then I disabled the Wired Ethernet and Enabled the Bluetooth and Did a lsmod and dmesg they start with mxxx.txt ...

All zipped up and ready to download from this link

v1.2.0 is the stable version everything after that is beta. Most developers here do this without pay, stop being so pushy.

Sorry if I'm seeming to be pushy, it was not my intention. Perhaps the way I speak english is wrong. But I'm Brazilian, so disregard anything. I'm just would like to know, because updates to the k-R42 are not released for a long time and I'm doubt if stopped developing or not.
