[ROM] AlfaWise H96 PRO+ 3/32 and 3/16 - SCV3A-ATV Version (DDR3 ONLY)

Finally, I received my Alfawise H96 Pro Plus 3/32GB device. Look good, I opened and I see a little radiator on the processor and 4 USB ports (2 must cut box for access).
The firmware seems to be from December 2016. I don't know if this it's the last original version, but, I want to save somehow this firmware.
If I try another firmware version and I'm not satisfied...can I return to original firmware?

1. How do I remove youtube notifications from the bar on top ?

2. How can I change youtube video from recommedation list to videos I like ?

3. Why there are no internet browser in this rom ?

4. Google play store is different from other play store which webare used to from other tv box . Also there are not too many apps in this store. Like google drive . I have few apks stored in drive which i want to install on the box .

5. Can I just roll back to your V2 if I want to change rom in USB burning tool.

Otherwise its a great rom but just feel like it's a bit restricted.

You can install the browser, google drove, etc apps from aptoide app. Youtube notifications don't go away because those appear as recommedations in leanback launcher. You can hide the navigation bar and the bar on the top.

1º you cant, "limitation" of AndroidTV, hide the upper/bottom bar... long Press menu button in the remote.

2º you cant, "limitation" of AndroidTV, you can disable it if you like in settings/Home...

3º install it

4º yes it have less apps because is androidTV and only shows androidTV compatible apps, use Aptoid its in the rom!

Hello, I've noticed something. When I look over ftmc movies, in dark sceneries, dark objects draw strong streaks. With the buildin mediaplayer is no problem. Someone else has noticed this? This is particularly pronounced in "Doctor Strange" first scene!
When I turn off the hardware acceleration in ftmc, the problem is also gone.

its recommended to turn off amlogic hardware acceleration . for android 5.1 and up

If I disable the hardware acceleration, then the movies are stuttering!

that is because nobody its updating anymore the amcodec, it have some problems with some dark/fast scenes!
But is still the best codec for amlogic devices!
But try SPMC 16.6.0 and see if it does the same..

Will ATV_Firefly_Fix.zip from Beelink GT1 work with this rom? Or is a separate fix and kernel coming for this rom?

No... and you will have problems of poweroff/led since on the H96 they use a custom kernel and my kernel and ugoos kernel have that problems...
