Kodi 17 will never support it since they simple dont care about android, it only works "ok" in Nix/Win... all the other platforms forget it...

bought asus nexus gamepad, hoping all gamepad games would work with this firmware as it is android tv. modern combat 5 and implosion do not work. is it possible to change to different mode on the game pad? does anyone have asus gampad and help. thanks. it seems my 2.5ghz air mouse was interfering, after removing it new and old gamepad working.

So your asus nexus gamepad is working well then? I've been hoping to order a gamepad and I wasn't sure, which one will work well. If you've tried this one out and it works well then I will get one too! Any force feedback on this gamepad?

my asus gamepad is working great and all the games I have tryed are working,problem is when a 2.5ghz air mouse or another Bluetooth device is connected gamepad doesn't work with games, same with tronsplant mars go1 gamepad. I did not have this problem with stock rom . is this a firmware issue?

I did order a different bluetooth gamepad, since asus gamepad is out of stock in Canada. It will arrive early next week. I will report any results with that gamepad. Usually my bluetooth headphones work fine when I'm using Kodi and my 2.4ghz mini keyboard (knock off version of Rii). I don't know if it will affect the gamepad. I will report next week.

Maybe get a usb extender cable or a usb hub and plug the 2.4ghz reciever in that. Maybe that will reduce interference with bluetooth gamepad. Or try turning off your 2.4ghz airmouse if it has a switch and see if it's better. Report results please.

Rom is working good for the most part. Thanks for the time you put into this.

Anyone running this or similar roms that might be able to help me with a few small issues would be greatly appreciated.

1: home key on stock remote controller does nothing. Its very hard to get back to android from netflix/kodi/etc - Can this be fixed? Most other keys work fine. (most important for now)
2: ATV play store. Can this be changed to the non ATV version easily? Am I better off flashing back to this rom: "AlfaWise H96 PRO+ 3/32 and 3/16 - Superceleron V2 ROM" ?
3: I switched roms because I was unable to connect to services over wifi (adb/sftp/ssh/ftp/kore remote/etc). Even with iptables cleared/flushed/stopped. I was able to adb over wifi to this ROM, but it seems to die on me and need a reboot. Has anyone else seen this? I cannot find an sshd server in the ATV play store (see #2)
4: Navigation buttons do nothing (arrow, square, circle). I can hear the sound when I click them but nothing happens. Power, sound and camera buttons work, so the bar itself seems partially functional.

5: Not related to rom as it happened on my old one, but Netflix stops playing 1-2 seconds in with a 0013 error code. Ive seen it mentioned it is an issue with DRM on rooted boxes and some say its fixed by renaming some (DRM) libs. Renaming the libs did not work for me. The issue does not occur right after a reboot (I can reboot and go straight to netflix and it will play, but if I leave and come back it wont).
* I am wondering if anyone knows the real issue as Ive seen it mentioned in comments for this rom. Is it a DRM issue

Based on this, 0x11 should be home, and that is what is listed in the remote.conf and it sends keyevent 102 - The problem is when I run (from shell):
input keyevent 102
I get nothing. Sending this should simulate the home key. It works with other keys, such as left, right, up down. I googled and found that these are determined by the keylayout files in /system/usr/keylayout/ however there are like 30 files in there. Some have different event codes for home, however none of them work. Does anyone have more experience with this than I do that can possibly help me locate what keyevent I need to send to my box to simulate home so I can edit my remote.conf file?

I am probably going to cross post this in a more generic thread to see if I get more info but I wanted to post here because I have not had this issue with other roms.

On what box you are trying the rom?

1º did you complete the setup? did you choose setup in the 1º boot?
2º Nop, use aptoid or stay in V2
3º Never got that.. but with so many combinations out there who knows!
4º All working just fine here! same as 1º and one more thing do you guys realize this is ANDROID TV ?????? in ANDROID TV you dont have the navigation bar, that one is there because i leave it there!
5º old bug, hard to fix i tell you...

I have a few questons since trying out this ROM.

1) Is there a version number for this ROM or does the V3 in the name mean "version 3" ? Should I aalways look for the highest version number to have the latest, error free version?

2)My screen is still dark, especially during fights scenes in ARROW, SUPER GIRL & THE EXPANSE - Dark hair and dark clothes look like dark blobs. The "FIX" app does not apply brightness adjustments until after long bootup because of ROM issues. Is there Anyway to make brightness fixes that are not delayed by a slow reboot? (sometimes reboot wwill not reboot necessitating power off to reboot.)

3) Power button issue and long boot up wait - I'm wondering if this is not due to irrelevant coding in original kernel that doesn't apply to hardware in my H96 Pro Plus?

For ones think their device is bricked:

I flash mine with this V3, and after flashing I had nothing through HDMI, and usb won't work with my pc.
I forgot my device attach to usb on my pc, and after an hour heard my device connected!, Iwas abble to flash an other firmware and all went good!.

I think it's the reset or power button bug.
