Short pins 7 & 8 on nand chip.
Power on, wait a few seconds and remove short wire or whatever.
Power off again.

Try 5+6 pins.

I used CWM to factory reset my MX box. DO NOT DO THIS!!!

(The reason I did this was that the internal storage had dropped to 0.00b and there was nothing I could od with the box...)

A big mistake. After that the internal storage was gone, it said 22 mb used as apps and rest was "UNAVAILABLE" - no matter what i did. Then I tried to format all of the nand, but that resulted in this what I am facing today.

I will try to short pins 7+8.

BY THE WAY: Seems CWM is only usable for BACKUP and RESTORE, nothing else.

EDIT: Shorting pins 7+8 did not help, in case I did short them on NAND. How to be sure which one is NAND? I shorted on this chip 29F64G08CBABA, the pins 7+8 and also 8+9.

Did not work.

Anyway, I ordered 2 MX boxes and digged out my MK808 (flashed it with Finless 2.1).

I'm waiting for my cable to try to unbrick again with AML Flash tool.

As you can see from my first pic, there is USB-OTG slot on the board. It is the single USB port on the back, and it is NOT one of the three slots on the side.

I made it red this time...

And I have ordered a cable for it, since I do not have USB Male-to-Male Cable. It is cheap, but I did not receive my last order from **** even after 2 months passed. That pisses me the most. Now I ordered 2 cables from another seller. I hope they will arrive at some point.

=> only for using the OTG and AML FLASH TOOL (aka ImageBurnTool)

My hope was, that you find out a way to connect a USB SERIAL-TO-TTL converter to log via tty the output begins at the startup from beginning including u-boot like this way, but I can't find any "connection point" at the g18ref....

Here is a better picture off the chip (EDIT: IT IS NOT SO =>and normal, if I do remember correctly, the dot/point on the chip means pin1)...
On the print of the chip on the picture form visitor is another description/number print on the chip???

The end is BABA so it clearly is the same chip, but board color is green, so it is different board, I think from Amlogic tablet with AML8726MX....

Do you think, you can dump each mtd with DD from your second box to sd and flash them back via OTG with the AML Flash Tool?
But you don't know the addresses?
Or beginning at 0 and adding the sizes?
