Reboot not working, also MXplayer Pro won't play with HW (impossible to play with HW decoder) but play fine HW+. 720p are fine both from network and sdcard, 1080p stutter (but it always did). Playstore work fine (I have all apps I use).Real good firmware

Hi Lewy20041, I just downloaded from 1st post the T428 1080p v1.1.2 rom. Checking the last modified dates, this has not changed since 8.5.13. Did you post a new one for the T428 1080p with NFS? Please let me know when it will be available. Thanks

Download 1.2.1 720p in first post and try NFS it does not mater resolution if you want to test it.

I don't know why but you are right some of my files play with HW, mainly tv show, but my movie not. I didn't have that behaviour previously. Maybe cause by bitrate or mkv format...

could you settle for the Hybrid ROM Firmware (HFW) 1.2.1, the kernel of pj anderson "kernel_t428_phja_20130802_vsf" For Tronsmart T428

I suggest picking the overclocked kernel instead. The 1080p version runs nice and cool and you can use the performance settings to cap the max frequency to the standard 1,608GHz if you don't feel like oc'ing.

I would also suggest defaulting to ondemand governor and noop i/o scheduler.

Hi all, my first test with the Tronsmart T428 and the ROM 1.2.1,

Résolution 1920x1080p-60, OC 1608 MHz :


Vidéo in (sdcard EXT) "h264_1080p_hp_4.1_40mbps_birds.mkv",
with MX PRO IN HW and HW+ = OK for me, good vidéo

Reboot working for me, use "holo reboot.apk" is (free)

I click on all the options in the setting, no bugs.

the stick Tronsmart T428, not hot, excellent.

( one hour of use, no reboot bug )

Antutu = 18991 ---> OC ( x4 1600 MHz ), best score

I just executed the AnTuTu benchmark with phjanderson's oc'd 1080p kernel for T428 and the following settings:

• CPU overclocked to 1,8GHz
• ondemand governor, noop i/o scheduler
• locked landscape mode
• output resolution set to 1920x1080p-50

Score: 17442

This is absolutely astounding! My previous record with a 1080p kernel was about 13000. Also my previous all-time record was 16368 with the Nexus Multi-Window v1.2 combined with the kernel from the Finless Alpha ROM (720p).

Furthermore, the device didn't even heat that much during the process. I kept my hand on it the whole time and would swear that the plastic cover never got warmer than ~45C.

I'm actually ... speechless (in a euphorically positive way for a chance).

Titanium Backup never running

thanks for the new rom, unfortunately, titanium backup does not work.
Best kernel is HFW 1.1.2 1080p Antutu 17658.

Original from Store works - no idea why my 3 old versions no longer run.

Im waiting for the new 1080p kernel.

That's odd. I haven't tried restoring stuff yet but backing up, at least, works as usual.
