T-R42/ MK888B/ CS918 with bluetooth

What do you suggest? To buy T-R42, K-R42 or G-Box MX2 clone?

I suggest either CS968 (better with more bells and whistles) or T-R42(has bluetooth but no camera and less usb ports than the cs968.

T-R42 appears to be cheaper... But, can we use K-R42 firmware while we're waiting for Lewi's firmware? (Someone mentioned that wifi + bluetooth are off with this combination... I need only Eth)

no_spam_for_me is right, you shouldn't use the K-R42 firmware and there's no reason to. The stock firmware on the T-R42 is working well (even with XBMC Gotham version). Just buy the device and wait for the custom firmware. I don't see any show stopper here.

Hi, i want to make a customer kernel for t-r42 but need the output of dmesg and lsmod from stockfirmware.
It would help me a lot if someone could post the outputs!

Just got my box

So I finally got my box after 26 days of waiting And I have some problems...for some reason i cant connect my email account to the play store :/(its not a network problem because the browser works..) when i try to type with the remote i cant change it to letters it just types numbers(i tried the little button on the remote to change it ,it doesn't work .... ,The WiFi on this thing thing is terrible i barely get a connection from just 4 meters away from the router ,the device is getting kinda hot,(not something serious but noticeable) ....
If someone can help me with these problems I would really appreciate it
BTW sorry for my bad English im not weary good at spelling

EDIT: It is a seperate thread but not in the K-R42 / T-R42 forum...
2. Do you have the stock firmware?
3. I want to try your fw but can I go back to stock?
