Hi, But if serial says "Unknow" , TWRP doesn't see the folder with TWRP/Backup/Axxxxxx. I make a backup of current rom (only logo for example), and create a new folder "asdfghjkllkll", putting the backup inside, works but no serial number. ,(

Your box running on what rom currently? Do all the task. Dont just do TWRP restore.

I run all steps, but the last, when I have Abox rom, on tarp backup doesn't appear. But If a make a backup and replace files all ok.

neodela can u explain this part in task2 "Task 2 - Use rom Update Tool - Insert MicroSD Card/Flashdrive and update the M8S_PRO_W-ota-20180802.182556.V0213.zip file with the update tool.(Local update)" is this update by pressing & hold recovery button & then apply update from sd card ? (OTA update ?) or there is a menu inside a box or option while box is on & running?

yesterday night i planned to start this procedure , i flashed first file with uasb burning tool , then used ota update to update , then i got now mecool ota firmware running ok with serial number showing & netflix is ok after using burn key tool , i noticed that mecool firmware much more better than abox a95x pro , , the only thing now i am trying to find a fix is power key shut down & a very crazy app called amazon prime video that can never work with me yet , thanx to every one here for help

how i can run prime amazon video APK on mecool m8s pro w OTA firmware , i currently still have it installed on box , i tried but always gives an error mesaage " sorry this video cant play , please contact cutomer service" !!!!! this app acting so crap , i can watch on other smart tv the prime video but on my box with any firmware installed it will not work , is it because box not supporting microsoft playback drm ? as i read it somewhare

Yes, your device doesn't have Playready to run Amazon Prime Video AndroidTV app.
You also can't use the phone app as Amazon blocks it on AndroidTV and Mecool/Nexbox firmware doesn't have a workaround as on some Rockchip AndroidTV devices.
