No! It will play max at SD quality or 540p. For any HD or FHD playback you need a DRM and Netflix certified device which are very few. The cheapest is Mi Box S

thank you bro.I tested on my Xiaomi RN5 but although HD icon appeared,resolution is still on 854..Latest I'll test on my tv box also and report back..

Hi everyone, I have found a modded version of Netflix which allows HD and Ultra HD streaming on devices with WideVine L3 support.
I have extensively tested this app, it actually streams in 720p and above on Poco F1.

Instructions for 1st run:
Skip update and sign in, it may lag just close the app and reopen it and it will work after that flawlessly.

panchovilla - it's intended for boxes with Widevine L1.that haven't been "certified" by NFix. On those boxes, it should ramp up to 1080p and works best with an air mouse.

Those Youtubers have cheerfully appropriated my mod, added a shortcut and passed it off as their offering..
