RileyROM 1.7b
Loaded this rom last night and everything is up and running. HUGE thanks to RileyROM for this. Perhaps someone could advise how I can save my magazine downloads in ZINIO before flashing a new rom. It's really painful to have to re-download each time I change roms. Titanium backup saves all the apps but not the magazines. Help please!

OTA Update
Originally posted by kyodocabeco View Postinstalled the 1.7a version and still testing, I have been declining the OTA update, I dont really know what does it do, but the message appears from time to time
I accepted the download (only about 9megs) but the installation was not successful. I then disabled automatic updates in settings so the update message no longer appears.

1.7b
Ok thanks, well so far so good 1.7b is working properly with me still testing, had one freeze when opening antutu benchmark for the first time, but thats probably because I had multiple syncs and updates and downloads going on, runned a test and I scores 19361 back to my old score wich make me happy, I strongly recomend everybody trying the roms and not going for other people feedback alot of guys were talking crap about the 1.7b and its going very well for me! Hope this helps!
Kind regards and thank you Riley once again for your intensive work!

Bricked? my M9Pro
Hi
I'm brand new here.
Last night I tried to update my Pipo M9Pro (WiFi only) with standard firmware (M9pro_EN_update_20130906.img) using RKBatchTool v1.6.
Now the tablet has a blank screen, the camera's flashlight is permanently on, and I can't turn the tablet off. Neither the computer (Win 7 32 bit) or the batch tool recognises the tablet.
Now that I've read up a bit on FreakTab, I realise that I did almost everything wrong.
1. Windows may have added the wrong drivers.
2. I may have had USB bugging turned on.
3. I didn't unmount and remove my SD card.
4. On the Batch Tool I pushed "Upgrade" not "Restore".
I have downloaded RileyROM's 1.7a, and read the "First Time User's" guide.
I have three questions :-
1. How do I get out of my problem - please!!!
2. In Windows 7, I can't figure out how to turn off the automatic driver installer (Randy's instructions don't seem to be for my Control Panel).
3. Where is the Reset Hole? Is it the hole next to the front facing camera?
Sorry, I have another question/problem - RileyROM's 1.7a doesn't appear to have RKAndroidTool.exe?
BTW, I have restored my computer to a period before I started to attempt the firmware update.Last edited by Nordo; 20 September 2013, 14:20.
