and kodi netflix addon gives this error.

i can play netflix 540p with an app from seller. No other app i tried could either. On my h96 pro+ i can play netflix with more possibilities

It's unbelievable how people don't bother reading 1 page back! This is the third time I'm posting the same message about NETFLIX. Please make it a sticky if possible.

Did some tests today myself to confirm what is being said in here about netflix on this box. The truth is that netflix CAN run on this box but at limited resolution.

I downloaded from apkmirror some of the black backrgound-red logo versions which are for tablets/phones and they successfully played content. It is not the best experience ever since the black backrgound-red logo apps are designed for touch control and we have a remote control, so a mouse or a air remote is necessary to plug into usb to control the app. Through the latest app I could see the movies and tv shows I played at 720p or some of them at 540p. The strange thing is that I could see "Polar" at 1080p! I don't know the role of the DRM level to the quality of the stream but seems that some movies have different security requirements and can play L1 content with higher resolution and some with lower. Quite strange...
The white background-red letter versions (ATV versions) did not open at all and they produced a -100 error (that they could not find a proper network or something).

All of the above were tried with the stock firmware which I think it is 201809011.

banggood also has a new km9 with white logo written on top which they say in the description has atv 9...but they only say you can preorder preorder so i think it will take some time to take this firmware

Yeah, VideoStrong (Mecool) seems to have reverted across the board to non-ATV builds...probably because they received a threatening "cease and desist" letter from Google for shipping their apps without permission. That's unfortunate for their customers now, but it may mean that VideoStrong and others have a new incentive to get their devices Google certified and "go legit."

In the interim, it's good news for us custom ROM developers. If you want a real Android TV experience for your Chinese TV box, aftermarket sites like FreakTab are really the only game in town.

Hi. I bought this ICZI USB 3.0 and Gigabit 1000 USB Hub and I can not get the ROM ofical Android TV from my KM9 to have an internet connection. Does anyone know of any gigabit HUB that works with the KM9? This product in the Xiaomi S is perfect. Do you think that in the Magendanz rom the hub can work?

An Android 9 beta has already been released for the KM9. I guess it will not be Android TV. Let's see if there's something about Android TV 9 soon

I didn't change the Ethernet (or WiFi) support in my custom ROMs, so it should be the same as the underlying OEM firmware.

Hey guys, can anyone guide me through the Audio settings of the KM9?

First I'm not sure but does the AV port support mini toslink output?? Or is there posybility to get digital audio to my AV Onkyo receiver ?
Second, when I go into Advanced audio settings and activate the option SPDIF, it just gets blank again after leaving the menu instead of saving the setting "on".
In general there are some mistakes in audio options in this android...

And is anybody aware of all the different advanced audio settings like, Dolby Audo (off, Line, RF), DTS percentage etc.. ? what is it?
That should I set in options to get 5.1 DTS Core or DD on HDMI port?
