I made a new thread to work on the CX-919x (MOD-2) to break off from this ROM and it's discussions.

No issues on my CX919 with the new 1.6 so thank you very much Bob.

My only comment is that my LED remained on throughout the flashing process (when holding the button down and connecting) although it says it should go off in the reader (same since 1.4). It got me stuck for a little while since I usually follow instructions pretty literally.

Like I said everything worked out well for me so some sticks might just have it so the light stays on.

So you know the README is the hardest for me to do after the ROM is made! I forget the things I fixed, etc etc etc... then I forget to update the simple things

Ah, I got you. That makes more sense - different process from what I've gotten very used to, haha!

I just got finished flashing, and can confirm that it does, in fact, work with my device! So thanks to sarcher3 for digging that up . I frankly didn't do much testing as I've got to turn in for the night, but it booted to the launcher at least. Hope that helps, let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist the process!

thanks - dowes the waiting for boot have been solved?

on version 1.5 We had to wait a few minutes to enable wifi :5 Min after 1st boot and 2 Min after next boot

does the new version has fixed this issue ?

OK folks... I spent a good amount of time on this ROM doing what you all asked!
This is not a rip of the Neo X7 ROM. It is actually more the MK908 ROM 1.6 I did with parts of other tablet ROMs, TV sticks, etc!

I have not done any work on the CX-919 in a while and sorry to say it was needed
I really like this ROM myself and have now moved the CX-919 into my living room TV.

Folks if you like this ROM I could use a few donations. Sorry to ask but donations have been few and far between lately.

Features and release notes for my 1.5 Android 4.2.2 ROM:

1) Rooted and new SU and Superuser applied that supports Android 4.2.2

2) Stock ROM was only 2 Gig of APP space.
BUT you also have parameter file options!
There are also 1gb, 2gb, 4gb and 6gb options.
Read below for how to change that in the flash tool.
Realize if you use this 6gb option, internal SDcard will only have about 600 megs of free space!

3) Debloated of junk APPs and Google Apps you can get from Google Play.
I also updated Google Play and required Google APPs to the latest version.

4) As always, full init.d support! If you do not know what that is... ignore it. For geeks that want to use it. It is there!

5) I re-enabled location services. This is now in the settings menu.
Tested and working with all APPs that use it.
Remember to turn off GPS as we have no GPS.

6) I also re-enabled accessibility options in settings.

7) Gameloft fix. This fixes Gameloft games from crashing to the desktop.
Many of them do not run and crash to the desktop. This is due to a license check based on the device.
Special thanks to Christian Troy for inventing this fix. I modded it for this ROM.

8) Build.prop edit to open up the Google Play store to APPs that normally say "not compatible".
I am spoofing a Samsung device that will show almost any APP as compatible.
Your device will show up in google play as Samsung device nopt a CX-919 or RKSDK! Understand this please.
I also left the original build.prop in the ROM called build.orig.
If you want to go back, just use ES FIle Explorer or a root file explorer and rename build.prop to build.old
Then rename build.orig to build.prop.
Go into settings, apps, all and go into the Google Play app. Clear the cache and data.
Reboot! You should be back to showing up as a 908.
WARNING if you do this, you need to be using the 1080 kernel or your screen will be oversized!

9) I added a reboot APP that will allow optional reboot options like reboot to bootloader (flash mode).

10) Kernel choices:
Special thanks to Freaktab user Sam321 (Simon) for his Frame Skipping fixed kernels!
I also give you the stock latest kernels but these still have the frame skipping issue!
They are supplied for people that want to use them anyway.

kernel720_simon_no_oc.img - 720P No Overclock with frame skip fix - This is the default.
kernel1080_simon_no_oc.img - 1080P No Overclock with frame skip fix

Special note: PJ Andersons pacther does not seem to fix the frame skipping on the stock kernels.
I did not test overclock patching with his patchomatic tool so I do not know if that works.

11) I fixed the double Camera icon showing up in the APP drawer.

I installed this last night on my cx919 using the default sam 720p kernel. this rom/kernel combo is amazing. my wifi performance is perfect now (speedtesting around 26mbit.. before it was jumping around from 4 to 20 constantly). I loaded up the September build of xbmc Gotham... everything plays smoothly (5gig 720p mkvs streamed from my NAS)... icefilms and onechannel work great. I nominate bob for president of the universe.

Anyone else having problems with Touch Input through Tincore Keymapper?
I think it's the kernel (tested 720p)...

i was finally able to flash it.
looks great, wifi, bluetooth, works fine.
BUT.......
i don't watch video on it, important to me is touchscreen functionality.
Put the .idc file in its place rebooted.
when you touch the screen a nice hand shows up.
can drag the hand around but can't "click/tab" on icons to open/select it.

after flashing the rom i flashed cwm the same way i did with 1.5
and it doesn't reboot in to recovery anymore, goed to flash mode.

gonna try some things tonight....will report later

Can confirm touch input not working for me either sixaxis,,I can create the touch profile fine shows the little hand on the screen but it just don't work hope theres a fix for this as my main use for the stick is games,,it works great on 1.4 rom :-( ...whats the idc file you talk about will that help me or do I need to revert back to 1.4 to play touch profile games

Hello,
I am new in this forum and I want ask for help for my MK808B and Finless ROM as firmware.
All apps are installed and works fine, but I have chosen the 1 GB version when flashing unfortunately. Now the space for apps is scarce.
Is there a way or app to increase the memory to 2 GB in hindsight , without any installed apps be deleted? (similar to resize in Windows with help of e.g. Paragon Partition Manager?)

For those with touch issues, I'm finding that this kernel: 'Hoabycsr No Overclock (400mhz) 720 frame skip fix' (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...inless-ROM-1-5) (and presumably his alternatives) works perfectly fine with touch options in Tincore Keymapper.
Now all I need is a way to get my X360 wired controller triggers recognized as triggers, and not as a touchpad
