UPDATED - CX919 - 4.2.2 - Finless ROM 1.6b

For those with touch issues, I'm finding that this kernel: 'Hoabycsr No Overclock (400mhz) 720 frame skip fix' (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...inless-ROM-1-5) (and presumably his alternatives) works perfectly fine with touch options in Tincore Keymapper.
Now all I need is a way to get my X360 wired controller triggers recognized as triggers, and not as a touchpad

Just downloaded the finless 1.5 in the link you posted.. I cant find the Hoabycsr kernel in there I can only see kernelsimon & kerneljjh-400mhz-720p + stock

1.6 ROM pulled! 1.6a uploading

We have solved the issues with some CX-919 sticks not booting or having NAND issues.

Special thanks to Tucker for helping me find the issue!

I am uploading V1.6a with a new recovery.img that solve all issues and will work now on any CX-919 stick.

Stay tuned I will update the first post here with 1.6a and provide a new download link.

This don't work for me but I don't use tincore,, I use sixaxis to map touch input iv got the latest sixaxis installed tried sam kernel, stock & hoabcsr & none of them let me use touch input, it lets me create the profile no problem I see the little hands on screen but don't work..
Asphalt 8 works great but I don't have to create a touch profile for that

Try it with this rom. (v. 1.2) That's how I got it to work.

Thanks Bob! I have been using this ROM ever since I got my CX919 and love it, can't wait for v1.6a to be posted!

Try it with this rom. (v. 1.2) That's how I got it to work.
I prefer Finless' rom though, but I haven't tested the aforementioned kernel with his rom.

Thanks I will give it a try downloading it now iv not gave up on finless 1.6 yet ,but I might go back to finless 1.4 the touch worked great on that rom, the rom was not as quick & the shut down butten don't work but the touch worked fine & I need that to work

Hello bob it worked on 1.4 ,4.1 I never got round to trying 4.2 out as 4.1 was working rely well.Are you going to come to the rescue again lol

UPDATE!
New ROM is 1.6a
The only thing changed is a new recovery.img. This will solve the boot problems on some sticks and any NAND formatting issues.

Touch Screen support!

OK folks. For those that need touch screen support here is a new boot.img that adds is.

Download this and unzip it. You will have a file called boot720_touch.img
Put this in my 1.6a FinlessROM folder.
Run the flash tool and change the boot.img line and point to this new boot file.
Uncheck everything else and flash only boot720_touch.img
On reboot touch should now be working.

To confirm you can install Android Terminal Emulator and at the command prompt type
lsmod
It will list all installed KO modules and it should list Virtual Touchscreen as installed.

NOTE: This only works on 720P kernel. It will install on 1080 kernels but the coordinates will be wrong.
Sorry I have not found a touch.ko that supports 1080 kernels.
