I know this is a bit off topic for this Finless 1.6b thread. Do we know of somewhere that people are discussing this particular issue with the short abrupt video loss?

I am using simon720 no oc kernel. How can this thing be powered by either the dc port or the usb port? Which one is the wiser to use? Both the same?

pm.sleep_mode
Found an article about the sleep mode
(search for pm.sleep_mode)
Since our device doesn't have a qualcomm chipset, is it perhaps possible to add an option to set the pm.sleep_mode to 0 instead of 1 for those who don't have a usb powered device? And will that work?
My tv doesn't have a usb slot, so I have to power the cx-919 with an adapter. I would realy like to turn the device "on" with my bluetooth airmouse
(or even better...the device can go into deepsleep but bluetooth stays on :-))

Futhermore:
This second issue is, as I mentioned earlier, that this property does not exist anywhere in the ICS code base. This means that adding this value to your build.prop will have no effect at all. This parameter is a kernel parameter and will only work when passed directly to the kernel on boot.

By holding the power button on the airmouse for 3 seconds the device goes into sleep and I just want to be able to wake it up again with the airmouse (but apparently bluetooth turns off as well)
So there is nothing to do about this?

AW: UPDATED - CX919 - 4.2.2 - Finless ROM 1.6b
And now to something completely different... in detail my problem with the device. So i now flashed the device with stock1080 kernel and it seems that the hdmi dropouts are gone, however, i can use the device for a while and suddenly out of rhe blue, mostly when i am done with the setup or some reboots later, the screen stays blue and i have no chance to boot it up again. I have just reflashed the device several times and tried to reboot it often during setup to find out what step softbrickes it, but no special step seems to cause this but everytime it hits me out of the blue when i think now it wont happen again, so now i tried to reflash some parts of the rom like loader, kernel and boot, but no effect, then i decided to flash simon1080 kernel again and, oh wonder, it did just boot up. Now i am testing if those dropouts do reappear, but for now it looks good.

So after testing a bit more, while everything went fine first, i found out that the dropouts also happen with stock 720 kernel, but only while playing plants vs zombies 2, and thwn i realized that the device was quite hot. So i guess there is not much one can do about this yet, as rhis heating problem can only be solved by tinkering around a bit more with the kernel than a patching thing can do.
Btw, no idea what was wrong, but 1080stock kernel is not booting anymore without a full flash, all other kernels do

Problem with mouse click
Hi all,
Just starting with my CX-919 stick and Finless ROM 1.6b.
Everything runs fine with this firmware. The only problem I detected is with my Logitech airmouse. With some games (e.g. City of Secrets), left click is totally inoperative, making the game unusable.
Any idea ?
