don't use the hdmi extension dongles that ship with the cx919. They are faulty. I have 2 cx919's ordered 3 months apart and both cause problems. Use and HDMI female-female connector and a real hdmi cable instead. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Maybe, any way of me telling what it is?i keep getting dependency error while trying to install mashup through xbmc on there and that didnt happen when it was originally working. need a good rom that wifi works on, tried most of them with no luck

Finless has a great rom but I found I had wifi slowness issues and after a month or so it would lock up on boot and I would have to re flash. I switched to the neomode 1.7 rom and now I'm getting. 25-30 meg on wireless. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Bob worked on this rom as well.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, it is a cx919; purchased 11/10/13. However it wasnt purchased through geekbuying, I picked it up here.

Thats not a tronsmart cx919. Thats a fake or some other brand. I dont think its the same componets inside maybe it is but i think its maybe a clone or something

Flickering screen and wifi not working

After installing this on my CX-919 II my screen keeps flickering and also my wifi does not work.

I already looked for (proven) solutions, but adjusting my resolution did not work.

Can anyone help? Or maybe with restoring it to its original firmware?

CX-919 II is not the same as CX-919. Do a search on the froum for your model. You may find a more appropriate Solution.

thanks bro n well done for working it out, havn't tried it yet as my stick is running decent again, but still needs to be a bit smoother, when i get some free time im definately going to try it

Yeah, my Antutu score goes up from 18600 to 20600, the 3d test got higher about 1000 pts. The frame rate test goes from average 11 fps to 15 fps

Both of my CX919 behave the same way. The neomode 1.7 has better wifi and video. I've noticed that overclocking the kernel gives better wifi too.

i used Bob roms and wifi works well to me... not using BT never ;S
that neomode rom need to be patched for using wifi and BT? i dont understand that very well...
waiting for Bob`s 1.7 or 2.0!!!!
