Just a quick question. .. my cx919 is plugged in in ac power however in the settings for battery it shows 50% and not charging. ..is it normal?

Hi there yes that's normal.There is no battery in the tv sick.

Couple of Questions

Hello All,

I just signed up on this board. I've been watching it for a month now after ordering my CX919 stick. I really appreciate all of the hard work that happens here. In fact, that is what convinced me to get the stick as I saw there is an active support community.

I have a couple of questions about Bob's 1.6b ROM

1. Is there a way to change the cursor?

2. Are there any known issues with CrossBreeder with this ROM? I did flash CrossBreeder (after flashing CWM Recovery) and it seems to work well. I get an Entropy of 4096. Just wondering if others had some experience with it.

Thanks I have now Flash my stick and used the 720p mod some guy uploaded.
even I have the 1GB ram version from DX.com it seems to work great so far.
I read somewhere in this thread how to remove the bar at bottom so I dont see the clock and the home button and stuff. I have a remote for it so I dont need that bar at the bottom.
also the google search bar on the homescreen is that posible to remove also.
I want my homescreen clean with only apps i use.

Bob, It looks like the "Internal Memory Error, Format SD Card OK?" bug still exists in 1.6b
I just got this. I leave my stick always on.

rebooting fixed the issue, for now.

.///// I have not updated to 1.6b..Still on 1.5...But, I have never had this issue on 1.5....I opened my stick to run the 400mhz kernel. Inside on board. It has cx919 ver1.1--I leave stick on except for occasional reboot..Wonder why some do??

Hi,

1. It is quite easy to change the mouse pointer, just install 7zip on your pc and change the mousepointer in the file ;system/framework/famework-res.apk
In the folder /res/drawable-mdpi/pointer-arrow.png
i am not totally sure about the filename thou, but the path is correct...

2. Forget about cross breader, it only causes more snappyness on the devices because generating entropy causes higher cpu load and the cpu is on higher frequency step while ideling

Make sure you don't have any wireless mice or keyboards conflicting with it. I had to use a usb extension cable with my wireless mouse in order to get the receiver away from the CX919. Also, I don't get very good speed with the Finless Roms. The Neomode 1.3 rom and the Sam321 Kernels seem to give the best wifi speed.

My CX919 is not rooted and i flashed it to the stock 4.2.2 rom. Should i root my device prior to flash "4.2.2 - Finless rom 1.6B" ?

No need to root first. Erase your rom and flash with Finless 1.6b
