You can use these parameter files to change the size of the primary partition. I think changing it to 6gb uses almost all of the primary partition and only leaves approximately 500mb for SD. I don't know how to set it up to use an external card for SD. Maybe plug an SD card in and it will get used automatically.

In the parameter row of the flash tool browse out to the parameter4gb or parameter6gb. I use the parameter4gb file myself.

Yet the rom has some annoying moments:
1. Boot animation may lead to eyes cancer
2. Mouse pointer is big, blurry and inaccurate.
3. 6Gb option leaves only 500Mb nand partition and external SD card is not used.

So I've modded the original 1.6b ROM:
1. Created less annoying boot animation.
2. Replaced mouse pointer with the one from Windows Aero, now it clicks exactly where it points.
3. Switched mounts for NAND/SDcard, so now External SD card is used instead of tiny internal NAND.

i dont know whats wrong with this mine. But i click on usb then i unplug it and bring it to the computer and it wont connect so i go back and sure enough once i turn off the unit it resets the usb and i have tried 5x now and everytime i diconnect power the usb check turns off.

Please help me fix this.

This is your misconception, you need to leave the device on to connect it to the pc, so either you bring the tv to tge pc so you can boot up and enable pc connection while running, or you bring the pc near the tv. Other way to transfere files would be over network, slower, but more comfortable.

If you mean the flash mode, you are on the entirely wrong way....

Yea im trying to flash it with the new rom. When i did the MK802 IV i did just that plugged it into the tv clicked on USB and then disconnected plugged the USB into the computer. Launched VMware fusion and windows. Then held the paperclip in the spot and plugged in the micro usb to the unit and 3-4 seconds windows found it.
I have done that with an MK908 and 2 MK802 IV now. But this cx-919 will not let me keep the setting. And i know you hold down the button while plugging in the usb.
SO what am i doing wrong

You don't need to do that setting at all...

Did u install the correct drivers? Usually u just hold the button until windows finds the new device, you should hear a bing sound then.

What drivers?
I just know with the other sticks i had i had to go in and click connect to PC then id plug it and it worked. I get nothing now. The CX919 doesnt even register

There is a driver in finless rom package, you need to install it. don't u see an unknown device in device manager?

Nothing but also how do you install the driver? Its some dll file and when i click on it it starts browsing the web.

EDIT it shows now i was using the side port. But when i click on reboot to flash it says it cant because its not an mce device?

Rightclick it. But if the device does not get registered, you either use the wrong usb port, or the cable is defect

You are still doing something wrong. U need to disconnect the device from all power sources, hold the button while connecting the otg port to your pc and keep the button held until the device gets registered.

What more can i do? I mean i hold down the button. It comes up the flash tool sees it it says found android rock tool or whatever. However i cant flash it it says its not an mce device. When i went to the device manager 2 items showed up 1 was a usb and the other was something else.

It says multimedia audio controller can not install driver because wizard can not locate a drive for it.even when i point it to the specific folder

which is the otg port? if its the side it never shows up only the main one shows in win.
