Not sure. However, that was not what I meant. I was wondering if you ran everything stock frequencies and such.

Got my replacement CX919 finally, after 4 months!!! (geekbuying sent it to my old address)

The device works great, but I cannot get it into flash mode no matter what I try. I installed the drivers fine, but cannot get it into flash mode.

With the button: the LED always lights up. Flash tool says "No Found..."
With the alternate flash tool: Nothing detected.
Tried 5 different micro USB cables, and two windows 7 machines.

Btw the power micro usb socket connection is very loose with the new device too. I have to surmise that this is normal. Two out of two.

edit: the stock 4.2.2 ROM is not even rooted! halp!


going to try the older drivers now...

Here's the CX-919 that we know this rom works with. I can't say for sure that the CX-919 that you provided a link to would work. That one only had 1gb of ram.

Please provide more info. What kernel are you using? Is it overclocked? what video? What player?

You can use these parameter files to change the size of the primary partition. I think changing it to 6gb uses almost all of the primary partition and only leaves approximately 500mb for SD. I don't know how to set it up to use an external card for SD. Maybe plug an SD card in and it will get used automatically.

In the parameter row of the flash tool browse out to the parameter4gb or parameter6gb. I use the parameter4gb file myself.
