I have put a mini sim with a adaptor in the sim slot .
It's not recognized and can't remve it anymore .
It is spring loaded and will pop back out. Easy once you know the trick.
If you really need the back cover off search for the youtube video about it. There is a link onthe kirsty
Rom thread about getting a better gps signal. (I hope they were more careful with my unit!)

While the alu back was removed i tried to see that GPS reception was improved(like some people mensioned) result is no better.

What did you do to make it work? or maybe someone else?
Also someone who experience freezes and reboots with new 2.0??
Stefan
What I did, was to do each test one by one instead of doing all at once (I as trying to determine which part was crashing the tablet).
After running all of them successfully I was able to run the full test without any problem.
By the way, I got a score of 18804.

Go outside, find a clear sky
Hold tablet in portrait mode with camera on right so antenna is pointing up
Do the figure 8 electronic compass calibration (see youtube)
Intstall ntpsync app. Run detailed query and note offset in milliseconds. My pipo is gaining about 1-2 sec/day, bad cpu freq. calibration?
Run query and sync to reset the clock. If return ping time to server is long consider to add 2 letter country code before pool url. E.g. uk.pool.ntp.org
I don't think gps.conf suggestion is good for wifi only, or when cell coverage is bad (since no ntp available when you need gps most).
See /system/etc/gpsconfig.xml for TWO places with coldstart locations. Need to remount system dir as superuser r/w to edit it. Maybe better to leave this file alone.
Install gps test app. In settings select update AGPS. I think this is the almanac/ephemeris.
Also in settings set keep screen on.
Wait for fix, first time could take some minutes.
Once you have a fix keep it in the app with a fix for 30 minutes. Do not switch away from app.
Good luck, this worked for me.

fix usb drivers
Originally posted by picaye View Posti had some issues with my tablet not being recognized. reinstalled drivers with this here (attachment) which i found somewhere and then it found it again. hope this helpsThis little installer got my Win7 laptop talking to my PipoM9Pro in minutes with absolutely no problems at all. I had given up trying to get this computer working with the usual nightmare installation procedure, but this just installed and told me to connect. First time connection got me talking on both flash tools. Randy, I think you should seriously consider putting this in your ROM Installation pack - it will make that first time installation SO MUCH easier!

It seems everything working OK at the moment.
Antutu test score marked as 18731 on my Pipo M9 Pro.
How did you apply the kernel update?
By using the ROM_Flash_Tool_137 in the same way to install RileyROM?
What is your Antutu test score after overclocking?
Thanks in advance.
