I have 2 PIPO M9 Pros, one with the PIPO Rom and one with RileyRom 2.0 The PIPO rom is far smoother with the graphics, than the RileyRom. Speed tests show the Riley is faster, but something is missing in Riley for the display drivers. Its very obvious when you swipe to close, its very jittery on Riley, smooth as butter on PIPO rom.

I always had app crashes on the PiPO ROM, even after several reboots. Now on the RileyRom, I have absolutely no issues at all. Swiping might be just as fast as on the original, i feel no difference. Just installed the Nova launcher, omg I love this tablet

Even plays full HD movie from external USB which is formatted to exFAT.

Hi all - I have been using RileyROM 2.0 now for about a week with no problems at all - but IWi-Fi on . I'm a doubt about the battery drain when in sleep - ie pressed off button, but not actually turned off. Overnight I am losing about 30% of battery - regardless of what state it was when turned off. I leave wifi on, otherwise it cannot collect emails when 'sleeping' - it this my problem? I have 'tweaked' the build.prop for battery drain and it seems to make no difference - pm.sleep_mode = 1 and ro.ril.disable.power.collapse=0 - as found on many different 'tweak sites' Others are reporting 1% or 2% drain overnight, so I must be doing something wrong - can anyone help?

Interesting. So how much drain do you get after leaving it for 8 hours? Mine was at 91% last night and down to 79% when I got up. Over 1% per hour on sleep.

Is there some kind of cpufreqd which can be set to other tresholds that stock PiPO fw to downclock CPU if it's in sleep mode ? (And give less voltage). It happens anyway but maybe there's possibility to fine-tune this.. maybe not.. or not needed..

My M9 Pro is refusing to fully boot and I'm not exactly sure how to kick the device into CWM from off state (not from within the OS).
Any ideas?

Its not only when u swipe off apps, its also while using the internet browser or in some 2d games/apps. Its on the stock rom aswell.

I hope all this lag is software and not hardware issue,and could be fixed in future updates.otherwise this tablet will not be my favourite buy:-(
I have a Chinese phone(cubot gt99) and everything works nice and smooth with no lags at all.Chrome is working great,but on my pipo is almost impossible to use.especially when you open more than one tab.
I did not expect that from its specs.

Hi all, I'm a newbie here and need some simple instructions! Just bought the pipo m9 pro with built in 3G and gps. My problem is the GPS is crap. Not finding any gps signal at all when offline. I hope I am doing things right but not too sure. Any help will be appreciated!!
