You cannot see the new kernel from tablet info. Use cpu spy, you will see the 1.7Ghz bar that is not supported on stock kernel.

unluckily on the KK 1.8 my tablet seems to be more unstable than JB one!

So, all of your kernels are not working well; the most reliable on JB (the Claro one) freezes too after some minutes of normal use of the device.

Now I want to try the stock kernel (never tried yet ) to see if the issue stays still there;
what can I try instead of?

Is there any other kernel mod for such a kind of very very unlucky CPU?!?

did you reflash the whole rom? or only the system?
Do you have problem with stock kernel too?

Try the "kimmen" version, with RAM overclocked only. It should work for you

I have used the script on JB without problem

Now as My M8HD has a KitKat version thanks to Randy, I try to modify the kernel.

But when I run the script, it doesn't find the DDR table !

Is there a new script for KitKat ?

I only can confirm that script can't find DDR table in this kernel. Looks like M8HD kernel is different because script is working fine on M7 KK kernel, guess it's working on M6 and M9 KK kernels too.

First: in my opinion any rom based on kitkat as rileyrom 1.7 and 1.8 are a LOT better than any jelly bean release.
Second: on previous pages I've posted some kernels for 1.6.x release, you need only to search a little bit...

I would agree with you if the app worked suits or almost ... but for example does not work on sky go kit kat ... then the 3g is wrong, and only works in 2 g. In my opinion, a better room stable .... thanks anyway.

After several tests made with the kernel mod, I had to go back to the room stock kernel, because the kernel mod is that it is a firmware version kit kat or jelly beans, went to turn off the 3g, with the result that the connection is forcing only on 2g. I wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience ... thank you ..
